Best Buddy Moving

We used the services of Rent a Buddy twice. Last fall we moved into storage after selling our home and just last week we moved from storage to our new home outside Toronto.

Both times the service was quick and efficient, staff very personable, and nothing was damaged, they take great care. I will add they arrive a few minutes EARLY! Amazing--I've waited for over an hour for movers in the past.

We also had them make two additional stops while heading out of the city to pick up items we had stored elsewhere, no problem.

Excellent work, great staff, I would absolutely use their services again if I were moving. In fact I do have a move to organize in March but sadly it's not in the GTA--next time though!

Thank you very much Jason for sending out John and Dave to help with our move. Both guys were pleasant, quick and efficient, wasting no time to remedy any problem that came their way...from not being able to park their truck in the proper loading area and having to move from the side of the building to dealing with a 1.5hr delay due to the elevators breaking down mid move (we were on the PH floor - 17 storeys up!) No time was wasted and Jason even came to help upload at the house since there was another job at 6pm that needed to be met on time....they knew exactly how do deal with hiccups along the way! I must comment that all men were polite, professional and were CLEAN SPOKEN... a truly appreciate this and will have no trouble calling them again for any of my own moves and will surely recommend them to others.

Due to a problem with another moving company I had to hire Rent-A-Buddy at the last minute. They responded extremely quickly and everything was confirmed within the hour, even after I submitted a request at 10pm. Awesome responsiveness.

The guys who helped me move were friendly, quick, and listened to all of my requests.

Having used a number of moving companies prior, these guys were by far the best. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I'd never hired movers before, and being a procrastinator, only got around to it a few days before my move. These guys got back to me right away (even though it was outside of business hours), gave me a great quote (and stuck to it), and didn't give me any reason to be nervous about any aspect of the move.

I was on about 2 hours' sleep after packing all night when they arrived (right on time), and they took care of everything- friendly, funny, and efficient (they even had to take off 2 sliding glass doors to get my couch out, which they did pretty easily and then put them right back on).

Nothing was damaged, the rate was way below any other last-minute quotes I got, and I have zero complaints.

Hire these guys, you will NOT be disappointed!

I've been weary of moving companies after a couple of bad experiences with moving companies that sprung surprise charges on me only after my stuff had been loaded onto the truck. So, in other words, held hostage while they took more money from me than what had been agreed to.

Rent a buddy on the other hand, was amazing. Professional, nice and pleasant from start to finish. My experience began with an assessment of my needs followed by a very pleasant move by the two guys that came to my place and finished the job professionally and quickly. Definitely will be using them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality and HONEST movers.

Called them on a Tuesday, booked the move for Thursday. Very profession on the phone and via e-mail. Arrived at 9 am for pickup of my personal belongings and finished the job about 3 hours later. They moved about 900 kg (7.5 cubic meters) of stuff into a 2nd story walkup in about 1.5-2 hours. No complaints, very friendly and accomodating - even moved what they called the heaviest thing they've ever carriers without any negative complaints (hey, it was heavy, I understand that). They even successfully moved in a massive queen-bed headboard up the narrow staircase after I was convinced I'd have to saw off a leg to make it fit.

Tipped then about $60 for their hard work. Would gladly use them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

The fellas did a terrific job, they were on time, gave a great quote and are very professional.
We have actually used them a few times and will continue to do so in the future!
