John responded immediately to a last minute repair job. A great relatively small job done in no time. John was respectful and showed up when promised. I would call John back for an electrical repair.

John did a great job diagnosing and replacing a bad circuit breaker. He was punctual, efficient, and even cleaned the circuit breaker as a lot of dust had accumulated. We will definitely use John again for future electrical work.

John did a great job replacing potlights and putting up light fixtures at our house. He responded quickly to my initial call, was precise and accurate about his time of arrival , cleaned up afterward and was professional to deal with.. I would definitely hire him again.

I found John From A & J in Homestars and I contacted him for several electrical needs at our residential building.

He is very professional, fast and accurate estimator. He replaced the outdoor Ballast and lamps and fixed the faulty photocell sensor.

John was a very nice guy, he showed up on time and his work was very professional. He explained what needed to be done to meet building code. The area's they worked in were cleaned and they didn't leave any plastic wire wrapping on the floor what so ever. I found A&J Electric to be very professional and I have already reccomended their use to friends for residential electrical needs. John arrived at my house promptly and was very accomodating when I asked for same day service (I suspect he may have had to make some adjustments on his side to accomodate me). In any case there were no surprises other than advising me of a faulty original installation which I agreed to have A&J remedy at the same time. Was a very good experience.

My insurance company mandated that for my new house, all outlets that had knob and tube wiring had a GFI outlet. I believed this to be the case, so they required an inspection from a licensed electrician stating it to be the case. I called a lot of the top electricians I found on Home Stars, and most of them said they didn't have the time, or that the GFIs didn't make K+B any safer (which I knew, but didn't care, since the insurance company was asking for it regardless.) One said he would write me the letter, without actually inspecting anything, for $600.

John was the first one I called who actually understood what I wanted to do, could make time for me, and was really nice about everything. He did a quick inspection of my outlets, and wrote a letter to the insurance company, for a grand total of about $200. Great service, and I'll definitely contact him if I need any major electrical work done.

Half my house was without power, checked all the screw in fuses and they all tested fine. So I was out of idea and called John.

John quickly found the faulty part, took about an hour to go get it from the warehouse and came back replaced it and I was up and running again.

I called him the morning of and he was able to resolve my issue very quickly.
