Ashlar Landscapes

This was our 2nd project with Daimon and crew and just like the 1st project we were so pleased with the professionalism, pride they take in their work and quality of the finished project. We had our front landscaping done to level the slope in the front yard and remove old and falling apart DIY gardens from previous owners. Daimon was very helpful making suggestions as to how to make our front yard low maintenance and dealt with our changing minds with stride. In the end we also replaced and extended our walkway (to line it up and match the side walkway we had done in project 1) and put in path lights. One of the aspects of this company and team that really stands out is that they really like working together, and take pride in the details, if something is not exactly right they will fix it right away. They were very communicative with their process, setbacks due to weather and what their next steps were as the project was underway. We has such a good experience both times that I highly recommend Ashlar Landscaping, if we ever have more landscaping needs we will not hesitate to call Daimon again.

I first used Ashlar Landscapes to redesign our front walk and was impressed with their work and attention to detail. When we decided to replace the pool deck in our backyard, we asked Daimon to have a look and see what could be done. We have had no regrets. The job involved the breakdown of the existing poured concrete deck as well as the removal of a wooden deck. The ground had to be prepared and leveled for installation of concrete pavers and erection of a previously purchased wooden pergola. Everything was completed to our satisfaction. The workmen were precise and determined to produce a first rate product. We would highly recommend Ashlar Landscaping!

Daimon was excellent in offering great advice on products and provided great service. The crew was hard working, polite and kept the work area clean after each work day. I would definitely use Ashlar Landscaping for future projects and have recommended them to our neighbours.

We decided to complete phase 2 of our backyard landscaping. - a stone patio to compliment our existing deck. After reaching out to a few contractors we decided to partner with Ashlar Landscapes. After our first planning meeting we knew we made the right decision! Daimon was helpful in offering suggestions based on his expertise and experience, and he worked within our budget. His crew - Jamie and Chris - were professional, polite and hard working. We were consulted every step of the way and always kept up-to-date on the project's progress. Our project was completed on time, within budget and totally to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend Daimon and his team.

Interlock driveway and entryway project

We contacted Daimon at Ashlar Landscapes, in June 2017. to discuss plans/estimate for our driveway and front entryway project.
Daimon provided feedback and options with respect to the design and materials to be used for the project and provided a written estimate for the various interlock/stone options.
Based on his professional approach with respect to the design, estimate and advice, we decided to go with his company.
We agreed on a start date but were flexible if he was able to start earlier which turned out to be the case.

Even though it rained several days during the construction phase, everything went smoothly and the job was completed within the timeframe that was discussed; the team did a great job keeping the site clean and minimizing any disruption for our neighbours.
We are very happy with the finished project and have received lots of positive feedback from our neighbours; we can recommend Ashlar Landscapes to anyone looking for a quality job.

I would highly recommend Daimon and his team at Ashlar Landscapes to do your next project. Daimon was professional and friendly from when we first met till the completion of our patio. He understood our ideas and his team executed perfectly and on budget. No surprises. Paul and Mike were also very professional and they worked really hard to get the patio done. They were easily approachable when I had questions and Paul explained to me everyday what they were going to do that day. They clean up the site at the end of the days which is a plus, and they also helped move all my backyard furniture onto the new patio. Thanks again Daimon, Paul and Mike.

We had our front porch, walkway and driveway installed with paving stones. Daimon was professional, informative and very accommodating throughout the whole process, from the initial meeting to the final day. He gave great suggestions for the types of stone to choose and ended up going with the one he suggested and glad we did. Jamie and Chris were the installers and they too were very professional. Jamie communicated with us every day about each day's plan and is a wealth of knowledge with respect to horticulture. Overall, very happy with the final product, very satisfied with Daimon and his team. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We had demolition and landscaping in our front and backyards, including a new interlock patio and side path. Daimon and his crew were very responsive, accommodating and explained everything along the way. No surprises and job went as planned. It's been a couple of months and the interlock has settled well.
