Rick was impeccably clean in my home. He did the cuts for his work outside, laid drop cloths where he was working and cleaned up after himself. He went beyond what was expected making sure that his moulding was not just installed but installed perfectly. He is an honest, friendly reliable businessman who I would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Thanks to him, my main floor has transformed!

All I can say is WOW!!. When it comes to detail, these guys are amazing. The corners are cut so perfect, I have had several people come over and were extremely impressed with the overall workmanship. I would not hesitate to call them again. They are very punctual, the customer service is simply amazing, and very clean. I have already referred to my cousin this past weekend. As others have stated, I had called other companies for estimates but Richard was always the first to call back. From the first encounter, to the start of the job and straight through to the finish Richard has been professional, honest and just a great pleasure to work with.

We had most of house installed with chair rails and picture frame wainscoting. The materials used were top notched and the skill he and his partner Paul put in is nothing less than incredible. They were always on time, pleasant to have around and cleaned up everyday at the end of their day.

We have had nothing but glowing compliments on their work from friends and family.

We definitely will be having them back to complete a few more jobs. If you're looking for someone to do moldings or trim work PLEASE do yourself a favor and call Richard, especially those from Woodbridge whom I'm sure have been quoted ridiculous amounts just because you live in Woodbridge.

I sent a request out to various mouldings and trim companies and Unique was the first one to respond to me. Richard from Unique has installed crown moulding, casings and baseboards for our entire main floor (living, dining, family room, hallway). Richard was very responsive to the many requests that we had, showed up early each day and worked straight through - I'm not sure he even took a break! We had very specific requests on the type of mouldings we wanted and how we wanted them installed and Richard was extremely accommodating and met all our objectives. Although he is a little more expensive than others we talked to, he only took payment *after* the work was done and we had piece of mind in knowing that he would complete the job and not leave us hanging as many contractors have been known to do. Most of all, the work looks great!

Richard was very professional and accurate in his workmanship. Together with Paul they do great work! Extremely happy with the final product/service. Richard pays attention to all the little details to make everything look perfect and make you happy. Fair price for super work. Would hire him anyday/anytime. Highly recommended, won't disappoint, all cutting done outside, uses drop-sheets to cover all flooring, very experienced and very polite. Keep-up the good work Richard.

Professional, prompt, efficient and friendly are just a few words that describe Richard and his approach to his work. Richard did a phenomenal job with our crown molding install and his workmanship is impeccable. Being in a condo, with limited areas for cutting the crown, Richard took all of the measurements and angles for our job and made the cuts at home over the weekend and was back bright and early on Monday morning for the install, which to my surprise was completed extremely quickly. The finished product is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for and really adds to the appearance of our condo. Richard and Unique Custom Moldings and Trim are truly great finish carpentry contractors worthy of this and all the other 10 star ratings on Homestars. Richard did an incredible job on our trim work in 2011. We really appreciated his expertise on choosing the right trim as well as offered many creative and stylish solutions to some of the more awkward areas of our house. We would definitely have him back anytime for any future trim or moulding work.
