Galaxy Moving & Mobile Storage

I required storage while my apartment was being renovated, Galaxy provided this service. They have a great system where they brought out a container, loaded my stuff and then brought the container back to their storage. I like the idea of less handling and their price is fair. I will use them again in the future and have already referred them to my sister. Ted

We used Galaxy for our move from Vancouver to Seattle, everything went smoothly from the original phone call to the delivery crew.
They even cleared customs for us (We didn't even have to meet them at the border).
They gave us a guaranteed price and didn't charge us 1 cent over their quote. I happily recommend them and would like to use them in the future. (If I move back to Canada) Trish

I used this company last year. It was not bad. They arrived on time, moved things quick but were a bit slow in driving to my new home. I waited for them like about 20 minutes. I am a slow driver and they left my old home before me. Overall not bad.

I used this company a few weeks ago after I found them on Google and I LOVED them!!! They were very understanding and answered all of my questions and had the patience of a saint! If I ever have to move again I will be calling them again and I will be recommending them to everyone I know! They showed up and got straight to work and didn't waste a minute of time! Our move was from a 3rd floor to 3rd floor with no elevators. The team of three arrived on time and worked methodically through the job, loading the truck carefully to ensure everything was packed efficiently. We had packed the boxes but didn't have protection for the furniture but the team had all the required equipment to ensure the furniture got there safely. It took four hours in total to move a two bedroom apt and this was solely due to the tireless efforts of the movers up and down the stairs. Having previously attempted to move without professional help I can say using Galaxy movers was worth every penny. Not just highly recommended but essential!

Great result achieved, I used several moving companies because I moved several times in my life. Yesterday I used Galaxy Movers for the first time and the experience was awesome. Movers showed up at 8am and completed the entire move by 2pm. I must say that they were quite fast considering the volume of my stuffs. But what really impressed me is their accuracy. Though there were some odds but the movers applied their skills and experience to avoid any hassles. My inventory was perfect even after the move and the cost of the move remained within my budget.

Do NOT hire this company!! They have no respect for customers' property or belongings & take no responsibility for damage they cause - it's even in their contract!! I have large scratches to my new home's hardwood floors & holes in walls.

They create bogus charges, do not respond to multiple e-mails requesting explanations of these charges & my final invoice was almost triple what what estimated. They require the total amount to be paid in full prior to the delivery of your belongings so there's no opportunity to withhold funds in case of errors on their part. They only accept cash or cheque which is one of the main warning signs on the BBB website to indicate questionable companies (I wish I had visited the BBB website first.)

The movers 'misplaced' my dining room table's wooden legs in their truck (???) which were apparently shipped to me via Greyhound but never delivered. Galaxy refused to complete a lost shipment claim with Greyhound which indicates to me they may not have sent my misplaced property in the first place. They also have no record of client information after they have received payment. They asked for my address to ship the table legs, 2 days after they had delivered my belongings.

I'm out almost $2500 for the move & $800 for a new table

This review is Long Over Due. I'm a repeat Galaxy Moving customer and will absolutely continue to be so and here's why.

I last used them on August 12, 2013, my original estimate was for $687, and I was on a very tight budget and feared that it Really would take 6 hours to move my huge two bedroom, living room, dining room, bathroom, and kitchen. My worries instantly went away when my moving team showed up, (Richard, Kevin, and Cruz) they assured me they would do their best to get me moved as fast, and safely as possible, and they assured me all my stuff would be taken good care of while being moved.

They honored their word far beyond that~they moved me out of my apartment and into my Public Storage Unit in Under Three Hours! saving me hundreds! they were absolutely respectful of me and my belongings throughout the whole process, and I was really surprised of how fast they did it because my boxes were super heavy! (note to self, and to others, don't over pack your boxes)

They went above and beyond with their impeccable moving services that hot day in August, and they didn't even take a break, in which I would not have blamed them if they did, I had A Lot Of Stuff! there was No complaining what so ever, and I think they were super surprised when they told me they were finished, that I gave them all hugs.

Seriously, when you need to move, just let them know upfront what you need~because they give it to you with the best attitude I've ever experienced before! You're in great hands with New City Moving, Inc! I would absolutely refer them to anyone and everyone. And for how they busted their backs moving all my heavy stuff, and I'm quite sure they give that same Awesome service to everyone else, I think their company should reward them with a monthly massage service, they earn and fully deserve something like that.

*Special note: I will be absolutely requesting all three of you again when I move into my new apartment which will be very soon (I promise that all boxes have been repacked into lighter ones:) and that I also really hope that your company Rewards your hard work with a monthly massage plan~because you three Rock!!
