The job was for a roof replacement for a semi - taking down 3 layers of shingles and slate plus redoing two flat roofs with six layers of cover. The estimate from City 1 was very detailed and involved Danny and his team going up onto the roof to confirm condition and determine number of layers. Because of the proximity to the neighbouring houses, it was very important that care be taken to protect them from any damage especially from the slates. The work done was great, on schedule, and on estimate with no damage to either our house or the neighbours'. Clean-up was done at the end of every day with a thorough clean-up at the end. Danny and Chuck and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with and very responsive to questions.

We are very pleased with the new roof on our old house. The crew of roofers were courteous and hardworking. The property/yard was left immaculate condition at the end of each working day, and at the end of the job. Our neighbours were also impressed by the crew and told us that they took down the name of the company should they or anyone they know require a new roof.

Over the last year I found roofing debris on my driveway and lawn. After some high winds a month ago I found two dozen pieces strewn about my property and the roadway. I called a few roofing companies for quotes and all were pretty much at par in terms of products and cost. I closed my eyes, pretty much, and picked the roofers. I chose City1. They started the job earlier than expected, which was a sigh of relief. They installed a 50 year product with a great profile. It was worth the extra few hundred dollars, since they were already up there, why not? I can't say enough about Danny and Chuck. These guys are professionals through and through. Great friendly service and knowledge to back it up. I am extremely pleased. I would spread their roofing gospel to anyone looking to find great, honest and hardworking roofers. We had a leak in the ceiling and within 2 weeks of shopping around and deciding on City 1 Roof Works the work began. I wanted to completely remove the plywood base of the flat roof but City 1 Roof said they would only do so if it warranted it in order to save me money. What was especially nice was the cost to replace and remove the plywood was just a little above the cost of the plywood itself. I also needed the insulation upgraded for the energy rebate. Since the roof is flat City 1 suggested a sloped insulation product that guarantees that the water won't pool and gave me my R24 rating.

They provided near daily photos of their work since I couldn't always be there to go and watch them work. When they needed to replace anything like the plywood and skylight they made sure I saw why the work needed to be done with photos. It was also helpful to have the photos when applying for the energy audit.

City 1 was efficient, courteous, and clean. They slipped and stepped through the ceiling but made sure the repair work was done professionally.

a vent for the washroom & also checked my flat roof & advise me that it was still good for a few years .My roof was done 4 years ago by these guys & not an issue with it & looks great no loose shigles .Also Danny & chuck pointed out some work i could do on mi chimeny & on the downspot on the flat roof they told me the names of product to buy & how to do it .I dont thing many people would advise you of issues that they were not to look at but they di look around they roof & checked eveything & Chuck even sealed the pipe from the water tank that is on the roof for no extra charges .These guys are great & honest this is who i like to deal with their are here to do the correct job at a great cost .Will defenatly use them again & recommen them to anyone .They know we all work hard for our money just like them .Thank you Danny & Chuck for installing the vent in shorth notice .

Had a roof leak and repairs needed to be done. Received a few quotes. They gave us the lowest quote. They showed up on time as promised. Completed a full roof repair and did extra work they thought was necessary and still charged the original estimate. Clean-up and work seems to be perfect.
