We hired Robert and his team to replace the remaining knob and tube in our 1897 heritage home with new wiring. We obtained quotes from a few electricians, but Robert was the only one who was able to provide a firm quote. He was also the only one who did not tell us that we had to rip down the ceiling in our living room, basement and possibly family room. In fact, after having been led to believe by the other electricians that ours was a huge job that would be very destructive to the ceilings and walls, Robert was extremely positive and assured us that there would be minimal impacts, very little stress and no surprises.
We were very impressed with Robert’s team. They were polite, efficient and completed the job in three weeks. It wasn’t nearly as much disruption as we had expected. The only damage to the walls and ceilings were 4 inch diameter holes. In one large room where the other electricians thought the ceiling would have to come down, Robert’s team only needed to create 5 4 inch diameter openings. Because the holes were so small, we decided to patch the holes in our plaster and drywall wall ourselves. Robert and his team are truly “masters of the art,” and we highly recommend them.
