Guns N Hoses Roofing, Exteriors & Insulation

We had to replace our roof after a storm. It was an insurance claim and we got three quotes. We tried Guns ‘n Roses because of word of mouth and they had advertised locally. All in all they did a pretty darn good job.

I googled for some roofing companies. I called 3 for quotes. The other 2 companies gave quotes based on satellite photos. I felt more comfortable with the Guns n Hoses because they came to my place and measured.

I hired this company based in their name. I loved it, being a Guns n Roses fan. It seemed fit to call them for a roof estimate. I called probably 4-5 businesses but they were very prompt calling me back. The job started a little bit later than originally planned. Part of it was weather related, but it was almost a month later.

We had our shingles damaged in a storm and used Guns and Hoses to repair the damage initially as it was middle of the winter and extremely cold. Keith came out soon after we called and did the repair to prevent any water damage. We then worked with the insurance company and Keith to schedule a time for the entire house to be re-shingled. Guns and Hoses was extremely professional throughout the process and kept us well informed. I mentioned to the Keith and to the crew doing the job that we were very concerned about cleanliness and nails as there are many kids in the area who play on our street and in our yard. The guys were very thorough in cleaning up regularly. Even my neighbours commented on what a professional and clean crew we had. I would highly recommend Guns and Hoses for your roofing needs in Calgary and surrounding areas.

We had 5 quotes for our project and chose GnH Roofing for several reasons: The owner Keith provided the quote in person; he provided samples of all materials being used and explained the process in detail; his product line was extensive and excellent quality; pricing was reasonable and comparable. The crew were diligent, safe, friendly and hard working. They completed the job on time, cleaned up and left no trace, and communicated with us during the entire project. GnH were well organized and completed the job in a timely manner from quote to completion. A video was provided for the initial quote and again upon inspection of the completed project. It was a pleasure dealing with Keith, Calvin, the office staff and the crew. Our roof looks great. Thanks GnH!

This company was on the ball when we were trying to decide which company to go for to do our roofing job. Once we made the deposit they were hard to get a hold of and when they finally came out we were not given any notice. Overall the work was fine for the cost, but the preliminary work left lots to be desired.

Meet the crews at home and garden show. Got total of 5 quotes and meet 3 roofing rep. I was shock how cheap the price was for high end material Malakey Legacy shingle from Guns N hose. So decide to meet Keith to go over the quote and make sure he didn't make a mistake. After meeting Keith I decided to go with GUNs and Hose and it was a awesome decision. One of the reviewer below pick the standard roof shingles and was upset that it wasn't that good. I know Keith is not a Messiah and can't magically change standard roofing shingles to Malarkey Legacy. Guns and hose told me at least a month before they can come out because they are extremely busy. They offer 3 times to my house patch any leak before they roofing my house. Keith and I do the final inspection and I was very happy with the result.

Had our house reroofed with GNH in 2009. Good job and referred them. Although the referred person used our name as a referral we did not receive the promised $100 referal incentive.
Job was good though.
Wanting to reroof another and emailed and was told someone would contact. The email sent from GNH was not particulary nice or professional. A week later we still have no contact. 2 others have come and given estimates.
I agree with the comment that they are now too big.

Guns N Hoses were a great company to work with. They were prompt in the quote and actually doing the work. They completed the roof in 2 days (removed old shingles, installed new shingles). The eaves were done about a week later. The clean up was great and we did not find nails or other material kicking around. GNH came back prior to final payment to do an inspection with us and ensure we were satisfied prior to payment. We have already recommended them to family.

Friendly, Fast and professional. Very affordale pricing, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new roof. Very informative, as to the various different kind of roofing choices available. 10/10!!
