T.J. Fine Upholstering

The beautiful refurbished Knoll sofa I scooped 10 years ago was sagging terribly. TJ diagnosed it with photos in email and gave me an estimate. His price was competitive but his timeline seemed unreasonably short... but even with pickup and delivery it only took a little over 1 day! My design icon is perfect with a new spring seat. Go ahead and believe these great reviews!

Milton is extremely knowledgeable and kind and takes the time to really explain all of the options. When my mother in law gave me some lovely chairs which I wanted to have reupholstered to match my decor, Milton gave me a great quote which he stuck to. He picked up the chairs right away and gave great advice on fabric, tufting and nailhead trim, and the chairs were finished and delivered to me within the promised timeline. The chairs are STUNNING and we could not be happier with them. The tufting is exceptional. Milton and his team do a beautiful job and were a pleasure to work with. I have already recommended them to several friends and family members.

I called Milton after reading reviews on Homestars - desperate to find someone to repair my broken couch before the holidays. He was responsive, knowledgeable, fairly priced and very focused on service. Milton visited my house to see the piece, and had the repair completed and returned inside 2 days. We contacted Milton and went to his store to pick out the fabric for the chair & ottoman we wanted recovered. The items were picked up the next week and to our amazement were returned 2 days later upholstered. The job was very good. Apart from not being told about the delivery charge all went well. I thing that TJ's is a fantastic! I brought a really damaged chair and Milton re-invented it for me. He is a perfectionist and it really shows. I told my Mother and she has now brought 2 of her chairs to Milton. That says it all!!
