I am a girl with very little knowledge of what it takes to build a garage. To be quite honest with you, I have NO clue! From meeting Don and discussing the plans and what i wanted in the garage (he listened to me). Then Steve the site Manager and the crew (cribbers, cement pourers, framers, siders, Bethany etc...)they completed the garage. They all exceeded my expectations. For being a girl and not having any knowledge or experience at reading blue prints, crib walls, voltage or understanding what it takes to build a garage. The finished garage is wonderful. I love my garage! I recommend this company for many reason mentioned and I am very satisfied with the finish product. This company has a very trustworthy and honourable reputation and I am so happy they built my garage. I highly recommend this company to anyone whom might be in the market to have a garage built or a basement done. They stand behind their work and their customers happiness. Keep up the great work. We decided to use Planit Builders because of the time frame in which they could have the project completed. Any renovation is inconvenient. Planit Builders completed both projects on schedule. From the planning stages to completion it was a great experience. The customer service was excellent. Our project manager Patrick always kept us informed of the progress being made and we never felt in the dark about anything. The contractors were respectful of our home and property. if we ever move and need a garage or basement we will definately call Planit Builders.

We are very happy with our basement development. Steve, our site manager, was very helpful throughout and went above and beyond what was expected. He kept on top of all the different tradesmen to make sure they were here on time, and was also mindful that they had to leave at a specific time so as not to disturb my little ones. He made sure that if something was not up to our satisfaction, that the right people came by to fix the issue. We would definitely recommend planit builders to our friends and family.

My project with PLANiT Builders was recently completed and has 100% met my expectations. My measure of satsifaction is based primarily on 2 items: a.) Quality and b.) Customer Care. My Site Supervisor, Graham Sheperd was great to deal with; he was always up-to-date on project progression, he communicated when trades were scheduled in and out of the house and he kept the project finish date in line (THANK YOU GRAHAM). I also really liked the Builder Trend program that PLANiT uses...another great tool to keep clients informed on their projects; everything at your finger-tips or a phone call away (to your Site Supervisor). Further to that, the Financing Program available through PLANiT is absolutely a bonus which gives customers flexibility with payment options.

From start to finish I was very pleased with my experience. I have additional space that my family enjoys spending time in. We have a cozy Guest Room for family and friends to stay in and last, but not least I have a laundry room with lino in it (instead of a cold, cement floor) and a folding shelf!!!!!!!. We can't believe we lived without a finshed basement for so long.

If you are looking for a trusted, customer focused company with great staff, I encourage you to talk to them. I have already referred them to friends that start their basement development in the New Year.

PLANiT Builders did a great job of providing guidance and oversight of our project. The trades were respectful and did high quality work. Our Site Manager, Steve, was excellent at staying on top of things. As with any project, there were some bumps along the way and Steve took creative, customer focused approaches to make sure everything got resolved. The project came in ahead of the initial schedule set out by our sales person and the quality of the product is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering this type of project.

We are extremely happy with this company. They provided us with a fair price and not once were we asked for more unless we decided on an upgrade after our contract was signed. Our basement was completed ahead of schedule and everything looks great. Their scheduler allowed us to know exactly what was going on and who to expect at our home and on what days. There were a few problems that popped up along the way but that is to be expected. Beau and Ryan were great in getting things fixed quick. If there was an issue I just called them and they were on the problem getting it fixed instantly. They do a lot of quality checks but if they miss something just let them know and they will make sure it is done to your liking. Their loyalty is to the customer first. If they feel a trade person isn't working to Planit's standards then they will deal with them accordingly. All in all we are extremely happy and would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

We just purchased our 1980's home in July and decided to immediately develop the unfinished basement. It was bare cement except for a roughed in bedroom and bathroom. We decided to work with PLANiT Builders in August. We have now just finished our basement development and could not be happier with the excellent results. We were impressed with the design staff at the beginning of the project who listened to what we envisioned and exactly produced a plan that included everything we wanted. Things started off quickly but then major issues were discovered with existing plumbing and electrical done by the prior owner in their renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms upstairs. Our site supervisor, Graham Shepherd, was extremely helpful in identifying the problems and ensuring that everything was rectified before framing and drywalling commenced. The slight delay in finishing the project was well worth the savings of future headaches had we not been made aware of the "Holmes on Homes" situation that we had unknowingly got ourselves into! We were very thankful that safety and quality of work was more important to PLANiT than rushing through the job. All work performed by each trade was done to very high standards and it shows in the professional look that we now have in our basement. Graham even brought an experienced co-worker with him at the end of the job to help him pull cables and hang our new TV on the wall. The only negative I can say about working with PLANiT was to do with communication at the beginning. Our estimator over-promised a bit on what extra work could be added in, involving lighting/electrical on the main floor of our house. Certainly not a deal-breaker, but perhaps there should be better communication between sales and service staff as to the exact scope of the work. The pricing, however, was dead on at the end of the job. Also, when we decided to go with a different furnace installer than PLANiT had recommended there appeared to be some issues in working with our chosen furnace installer, but to be fair it seemed to be going both ways. At the time, these inconveniences were fully acknowledged and addressed by Graham in a very professional manner. Thank you PLANiT for an exceptional experience in getting our basement developed. After hearing other people's horror stories in working with other contractors we had some concerns but PLANiT came through with flying colours and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

I saw PlanIt builders at the flames games and was happy with them right from the first phone call right up until the last item was signed off. Throughout the project they responded to every concern or question I had promptly and thoroughly. I was happy with the estimator who came to my house and gave me a cost that evening. That cost did not change throughout the project although there was some back and forth on it like any project it was always very reasonable.

I had one point of contact in my site supervisor that made everything very simple. They respected my house and my family they kept it as clean as possible even laying down cardboard for the whole project including cleaning furnaces etc. which was a nice and much needed surprise.
They matched my upstairs perfectly even matching the custom finishing’s and there was no extra cost for it.
If you’re looking around stop looking, they aren't the cheapest but there not the most expensive and they will save you time money and headaches with their organization and procedures.

Today marks the completion of our basement renovation. We are EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the professionalism, detail-orientation and high quality work from Planit Builders and our Project Manager Mark Turco. The project came in on time, on budget and our basement is absolutely gorgeous. The entire process from start to finish was painless and easy. With our detailed project plan, we knew each and every day what was happening and that piece of mind was very valuable. Mark Turco did a fantastic job!! He kept us informed of progress at all times, was extremely responsive if we had questions and he kept the trades on time and was in daily contact with our project. First Class service from Mark and first class service from all of the Contractors that he brought into our home. We couldn't be happier with the final result - Thank you Mark and Planit Builders !!

Final product, very good. Final completion date over estimate. Site supervisor excellent, over worked. Garbage did not get hauled out everyday, trades did not show up at 8 everyday, nor worked full days exception framers, electricians, HVAC (they put in full days). Excellent final product, was treated very well through process.
