Danny and his team are easy to work with. Danny is not happy until his customer is happy. We had very high expectations and Danny worked hard to ensure every expectation was met. The finished product looks great and came in on budget, despite the many requests and changes we made along the way. The custom built-in cabinetry (in 6 rooms) is spectacular and the electrical and tiling is well done. I needed to ask for drywall and paint touch-ups and all were completed, no questions asked. The project took longer than we would have liked, but I doubt anyone else could have done it faster. Overall, we are extremely happy.

Joe and his team completed a full kitchen and master ensuite renovation (including the removal of a load-bearing wall) for our family.
I cannot say enough good things about Joe and his team. They were highly responsive, extremely efficient and worked magic for the project . For example, I ordered a countertop that was not going to be available for when I needed it (I was due to give birth). Somehow, I walked into my house and Joe surprised me with it already installed - I don't know how he did it!

As with any renovations, some touch ups were required and he was extremely open and responsive to our requests and did them immediately.

We would highly recommend his company and all of his trades people were lovely to deal with.

I would also like to say his prices are very fair and we never felt taken advantage of or over charged.

I cannot say enough good things about them.

We recently renovated our kitchen and found Danny a pleasure to work with. He was always readily available and always returned our phone calls promptly. The sub contractors that he used to do the floor did a meticulous job. The cabinet maker made us beautiful cabinets and drawers. Whenever we were not happy with the way something looked, he made sure it was fixed to our satisfaction. Even now that the job has finished, he has sent people in to fix or change things since he just wants to make sure that we are happy with the job. Our only complaint was that it took longer than we expected. I would highly recommend True Contractors.

We hired Danny to do a major renovation to our basement, including fully waterproofing it.

Danny is a real pleasure to work with. He is extremely attentive and helpful. He listens and provides helpful proactive solutions when problems come up. He stayed on budget and got the work done reasonably on time (there were some delays but all reasonable and well communicated). His team was very tidy and made an effort to keep the rest of the house as clean as possible so that we could live in the house while the renos were going on. Danny followed up quickly and effectively if there were problems and fixed anything that wasn't perfect (and continues to do so a year later... no matter how small). He has proven to be trustworthy and reliable. A real gem!

I would fully recommend True Contractors and in fact I have hired him again to renovate our upstairs bathroom and to create a 2nd floor laundry room. That work is underway and going extremely smoothly.

My husband and I had been looking to downsize and move in to the city for over a year. After searching with no success, we finally made the BIG decision to renovate our home instead. Given that we have always been reluctant to renovate for countless reasons, this was a huge decision for us and we knew that choosing the right contractor was of the utmost importance.
When we met with Danny, we instantly knew he was our guy. For us, sticking within budget was our biggest priority, being able to remain in the home was also important, as well as completing the project within a quick timeframe. With Danny, all of those things were accomplished.
The other important thing was that Danny was incredibly supportive, available and responsive from day one. My husband and I both work full time and feeling assured that things were "getting done" without one of us being on site was crucial. Not only that, we were completely inexperienced when it came to any professional renovation and Danny was always able to explain anything and everything- and always felt that everything was doable.
We were terrified to pull the trigger for fear of all the nightmares you hear about and see on those TV shows. We did not have ANY nightmares with Danny. I have already recommended him to many friends and will continue to do so.
Of course, the end result is obviously the bottom line most important thing and we could not be happier with our new home- kitchen, new walls, floors, everything.
And... last but not least, the review would not be compete without shout-outs to all of the crew...Clive, Kennedy, Romi, Noam...they were all great to have in our home.
We are probably the only people to say they will miss their contractor and crew, but we will! THANK YOU!!

We have been very satisfied with True Contractors. Danny is very professional, always pleasant and has excellent tradespeople working for him. He was flexible throughout the whole project and knew when to take initiatives. We will definitely work with him again.

True Contractors did a great job transforming our very awkward, dated third floor bathroom into a beautiful, modern mini-oasis! The project took a little longer than expected, but we did say from the beginning that we didn't need it completed quickly, so it wasn't really a problem. The tradespeople were prompt, polite, efficient and very mindful of passing through other areas of the house (taking shoes off, etc) that were not being renovated. Danny was very responsive and handled everything professionally, cheerfully and fairly, always with his trademark sense of humour.

Working with Danny of True Contractors (and our amazing designer Dawn Chapnick) was a fun experience and we are very pleased with the final outcome of our renovations. While it took a bit longer than we had planned on at the outset, Danny and his team were honest, fun and really listened to what we wanted. We always felt comfortable with the True Contractors team being in our home. We are thrilled with the final result of our renovations and we'll miss having them around!

Danny and Joe demolished, and rebuilt our home in Etobicoke. We went from a ranch bungalow, to a 4500ft modern home. This was a huge job and our modern style was somewhat of a new approach for True. We found them to be professional, knowledgeable and honest. Our vision was very specific and Danny and Joe worked well with us, our architect and our interior designer. All of the trades who worked with True were skillful and professional and True has a large network of good quality suppliers to call upon. Our project ran smoothly and on time. There were very few glitches along the way and Danny and Joe kept us well informed throughout the entire process. We found them to be accessible by phone and text and we had regular updates. They are both extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Danny and Joe work well together as they have specific strengths and areas of expertise that they manage within the bigger project. Their experience is invaluable to a project of this size and scope. I would definitely recommend True Contractors for your renovation needs. They certainly made our project run well and the end product is a beautiful house of which we are very proud!

True Contractors did a great job renovating my house fall of 2014. They worked well with my designer and worked well with in the budget. The renovation took a little longer than anticipated, but I was very happy in the end. Danny Edell, the company owner, was a delight to work with.
