True North Eavestroughing

Home is now 30 years old and after the last major rainfall it was obvious new eavestroughs were needed. Checked home stars, the company website, their videos and a client who used True North two years ago who had nothing but good things to say about the True North, their owner John and the crew that did the work. I can agree with all the other reviewers, communication was quick through both email and phone, price was fair and what I expected, the job was completed with no delay as the weather could have been an issue in December, job site was cleaned up and you would have known anyone was there other than the view of gleaming eavestroughs and downspouts with the cast iron brackets, nice touch John! I feel a good test for a company that is good and offers good quality is the availability when they can do the work, in my case first contact was made on Dec 1 and the appointment scheduled for December 18.

John & his guys did an excellent job , showed up on time , kept everything clean & also did some unexpected caulking repairs . Very professional & good to deal with . Also agreed to check back in the spring when we get heavy rain to make sure things are good .

They gave me a detailed complete estimate. They did quality work on time and for the price quoted. I need a couple of small things done in the spring. No [problem and no charge.

John and his team are very professional. Did a fantastic job. Gave me a written quote. No deposit required. He is very honest and trust worthy. Came on time, kept the place clean and completed on time. My wife and i love the color and are very happy with the house. It certainly improved the look of the place. John Whyte came by and personally accessed job. He supplied a quote with copies of wsib, insurance and diagram of house. He was very knowledgeable. His quote was on par with competitors and also included cast downpipe brackets and zip hinges, if required, for no charge. On day of job, arrived on time and completed job including using a level all around to confirm drainage. Installed screw brackets every 18", increased size of downpipe to 3"x3' from 2"x3", and re-routed downpipe through garden, replacing plastic pipe with metal. Cleaned up site with magnet and removed all debris. Very happy with job.

We had the gutters on the entire house replaced. John and the team were always punctual. John offered good suggestions to improve what we intended to do. He responded to my emails quickly. The team did a very good job, and they were done faster than the original estimate. I don't know how they managed to replace the gutters in some places without trampling the flower beds, but they found a way. When they were done, you wouldn't have known they had been here (other than the great looking new gutters). About 4 months after the installation we saw a small issue with one corner (a very small leak). I emailed John on Saturday, he responded on Sunday that he would be there on Tuesday, he came on Tuesday and he fixed the issue right away. I would recommend this company to anyone.

John Whyte is a consummate professional. From start to finish. I cannot be more Thankful nor more Appreciative for the exceptional Customer Service provided. I continue to be in awe of the superior level of workmanship. No stone was left unturned in order to make certain the finished product was simply exquisite.

John was consistent, detailed, thorough and specific. He was detailed in what needed to be done, the quote reflected exactly what he had stated, and he followed up after the work was done to ensure that we were satisfied with the work.

His team showed up on time, and worked around a large thunderstorm that passed through on the day that they committed to doing the work. We are happy with the results pending the next few rainstorms ;)

My 30 yr old home was in need of new gutters. I researched companies to do this job, and had John Whyte come and quote from True North. I felt the cost was reasonable after comparing to others. The crew was professional and courteous, the job was done well, and there was no trace of them being there afterward. They also advised of a few observations on the roof which was appreciated. When I contacted True North Eavestroughing via email, John contacted me later that day and provided the quote in the timeframe promised after coming to measure out the lengths needed.
Once I agreed to the quote, he told me when they would come to replace my eavestroughs and even gave a reminder before they came.
The work was done efficiently and it looks very great. John and his staff were very friendly and left my place without any garbage remaining.
He was also very accommodating with the payment since I left for vacation the day the work was completed and couldn't pay until I returned.
