John Generaux performed a thorough and eye opening inspection for my first new home purchase. John’s years of experience allowed him to trace signs of past defects, identify current problems and suggest areas of future concern that were not so obvious. The infrared camera was a very valuable bonus. I would highly recommend John for a courteous, professional and reliable home inspection.

John was excellent! He was punctual even though he had to travel a distance. He was extremely thorough and made sure that he explained everything in detail to us as he went through the inspection. After the inspection he took the time to once again go through pictures and details of his findings and got the report to us right away. We would definitely recommend John to our friends and family. John was great! Arrived on time and inspected the property we were interested in buying inside and out. He found some major issues - including structural and mould problems - that another leading home inspection firm who had performed an inspection on behalf of the sellers did not. Needless to say the sellers of the house were not happy with their inspector but we were extremely happy to have found John! He worked with high end technology and walked us through all of his findings and reccomendations during the inspection. Afterwards we had a full 150 page report with photos emailed to us in a PDF all in under 24hrs. I have already reccomened John to multiple friends and collegues. His knowledge and technology put him way ahead of other home inspectors. If you're buying a home definitely call him!

We would highly recommend John to anyone for a home inspection. He arrived early, did work work on the roof before commencing to the interior of the home. He found a major leak coming from one of the bathrooms leaking into the basement of the home and a bunch of other things pertaining to the electrical and roof and potential mould in the basement. He pointed out a lot of things for potential repair and finished off the inspection with infrared camera looking for leaks and water damage. He went through his entire inspection and pictures with us at the end of the appointment. Highly recommended to anyone .. Thanks John!

John was right on time and the inspection was very thorough! The in depth inspection was mailed to me hours later. My overall experience was fantastic! We are impressed about the promt and professional service, and the very detailed report which followed. The inspection itself was an educational experience; I learned a lot from it. Expected a sressful activity, but it felt like doing a project with a knowleadgeable friend.

If I was allowed to give John more STARS then I definitely would!!!! I know my comment is long. But do yourself a favor and read it all.
A friend sent me John's link and when I contacted him, I received an immediate friendly response. He was couteous and extremly professional. John encouraged me to walk through the inspection with him so he could teach me the mechanics of the house itself plus explained how to maintain it and conserve on Energy. Me being a single person, this was very important and helpful. His knowledge combined with technology was truly overwhelming and he took his time to make sure I understood everything.
He treated this inspection like it was for his own family with major concern about the safety issues and the bad workmanship. John certainly has pride in his results and cares about the customers awareness. I know I will save a ton of $$$ from what I learned. What a refreshing experience.
