I was most impressed with phone conversation with Mike (he was willing to give rough quote and some detailed explanation over the phone) and agreed for him to visit us same day and give us a quote for this service. On this visit, Mike thoroughly explained to us what he and his crew would need to do. He was courteous, and the job was done the next day. He and crew were on time, polite, and careful to not damage surroundings of the work area. The 2 gentlemen actually doing the job even waited around for the inspector to ok it, then cemented in the area same day. Later that day, Mike came in to check what they had done. The job was done quickly, tidily, and at a very comparable price to other estimates we had gotten. I would definitely use this company again and would also recommend them to family or friends. Thank you Mike. It was your manner on the phone that made us feel comfortable about using a company who we just picked out of the phone book.

Our experience with Public Plumbing was terrific.
We had a water line leak in the delivery pipe in 100ft distance
between city pipe and our house.We had previously hired another contractor who replaced a small section and assured us things would be fine.They were not, and a second leak & flood developed.
Naz to the rescue! He told us we had been swindled and explained why & how he would replace the pipe in it's entire length, do minimal damage to the lawn ,not disrupt the foundation wall or concrete walkway,and protect our interior finishes.
Naz was very patient and informative.His crew was early,hardworking,couteous and tidy.
It was a big job, done in a very prompt ,efficient and neat manner.
Our experience was very positive,and we would not hesitate to recommend this company.

The guys at Public Plumbing (pointing at you Naz, Alexei and Andrey), were great! They showed that the best plumbers don’t always wear Red or Green, or have moustaches - reference to Mario and Luigi from Nintendo games ;-) They finished the job ahead of schedule and at a considerably better price than their competition. They arrived on time every day and kept the work area clean and tidy at all times. They were open and honestly answered all our questions. If anyone is in a bind, they can trust Public Plumbing not to take advantage of the situation. Thank you!

Had an issue with hot water out of cold taps, cold water from hot, and hot water in the toilet. Had to replace a canister in the shower faucet. Fast response, diagnosed and resolved issue quickly, friendly staff. Everything works perfect now. Wish I had called sooner :) Definitely will use again.

We had the sewage flood on July 15th and on Aug 10th the basement started to flood again. I stood on the drain for over half an hour. We called Mike at Public Plumbing and he came over, did a camera inspection of the drain while my neighbours and I questioned him about every little thing we saw in there. He explained everthing in great detail. We got a permit on Monday and Tuesday the backflow valve was done. The plumbers were very polite, covered everything with tarps, covered their shoes and did a clean neat job. I would recommend them to anyone. In fact I have.

I phoned several plumbing services early in the morning to get an estimate on clearing our clogged kitchen drain. They said they'd have someone call me back, or could send someone out "this afternoon".

But Mike at Public Plumbing took my call promptly, arranged to come to my house that morning, arrived on time, gave me a firm - and competitive - cost, and set to work with professionalism and real expertise. When the snaking didn't clear the drain Mike was ready with a larger machine, which did the trick. He cleaned up everything neatly when he'd finished, gave me some useful advice on preventing future clogs and was helpful and courteous throughout. I'd recommend Mike anytime!

I would recommend this company to anyone in need of a good and professional plumber. Not only did Naz quickly unclog our sink drain, but he also recommended tips on how to prevent this problem as it did happen regularly in our household. He worked very quickly and was courteous of our time. I found his rates very reasonable and affordable, especially for the high level of service that he and his team provided.

We were very satisfied by the work done by Jon and his team. Jon was very professional. The work was done on time and without much disruption to our lives. The workers were courteous and tidy. It was a major job as our water supply line was very deep into our foundation. The only recommendation I would give is to monitor the removal and transplanting of plants in the garden more, as they did not put them back correctly and I suspect one of our bushes has died with the stress. However, when Jon saw that we had to move them he had his men come back and replace the topsoil. i would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a good plumber.

Vlad came to my house as promised. He was very professional. He actually took the trouble and show me step by step how to fix the problem. I have never been so appreciative. I would recommend his service to everyone.
We should have more people like him in this industry. This company is truly honest and I highly recommend his services.

We had a city caused sewage backup and realized that we needed a backflow preventor to protect the house from further problems. Public Plumbing was highly recommended by the contractor who did the emergency clean up so we hired them without doing any comparative shopping. While scoping the pipes they showed that there was extensive root invasion in our sewage pipes and replaced them; they also installed a new drain in the furnace room and attached the drain of the high efficiency boiler.

Naz and his team were prompt, knowledgeable and courteous.
