Floorwood Solutions Inc. No Longer In Business

We had Floorwood Solutions Inc. installed Vintage Cocoa in our Living/Dining room and it was great dealing with both Patricia and Robert.

Patricia was really helpful and provided great advice. She took the time to answer all my questions by email and even provided us with sample pictures to assist us in making the right decision.

As for Robert, words aren't enough to describe how amazing this guy is! On the day of the installation he showed up on time and what surprised me was the fact that he was the only one to do the job from start to finish. I did not have the chance to meet Darek but Robert was really professional and installation went smoothly. When he was done with the installation, he made sure everything was ok and also cleaned everything.

Robert's professional work completely changed the look of our Living/Dining room and it's no surprise that we have received so many compliments from family and friends! I will definitely recommend Floorwood Solutions Inc. to anyone.

WE just had 3 1/4 inch Bruce espresso installed throughout the house. Rob came to finish the main floor with the espresso flooring...It looks great..shiny, dark, and just wonderful...
Its not handscraped but it still looks fabulous!! Even the dog is walking 'gingerly' so there are no scratches..what a boy...
wow...what a difference flooring can make.. it even makes the pinkish hue on the builder 'almond' walls have a taupe like quality to them..

I had the pleasure of hiring Floorwood;s team to install approx 1200 sq/ft of Vintage hand scraped hardwood and could not be happier about making that decision. Hardwood is a major investment and like others have mentioned I did not want to buy expensive hardwood and then skimp out on the installation. Floorwood's team did not disappoint. They were there every morning right on time, going above and beyond their duties of installing hardwood [helped out my dad and I on some numerous new home issues].

They were great to have around and Patricia [Floorwood's other half] was amazing with quick responses to emails, quotes and numerous questions even when we had to change our hardwood order due to my builders error in staining the staircase. Regardless they made the whole experience stress free from the initial quote to the final delivery. The installation was flawless and you can tell the difference between the builders trades [owned previous homes with hardwood installed by builders] and using guys who are good at what they do. The difference is obvious and everyone who comes into the house just comments on the floor and how "solid" they feel. Thanks again to Floorwood solutions.

We hired Floorwood Solutions because of forum posts by Patricia on another website regarding hardwood flooring. She's very informative and helpful with questions that forum members had about the subject. I contacted her via the forum and throughout the process, she was very helpful and prompt with her responses. We had selected the Hand Scraped White Oak Baroque floors based on her recommendations.

Robert and Darek installed the floors in one day. They were meticulous and professional with their work and I appreciate the extra care they took to install around the stairs and doors. They also cleaned up after the install was completed. Pictures taken were right after the install so they were still dusty. They look immaculate after polishing them up!

I hired Floorwood Solutions to do approximately 1,500 sq ft of hardwood flooring based on my initial correspondence with Patricia, which I found informative and accurate. Patricia provided me with consultation and advice when I needed it and assisted me in choosing the correct floors for the look that I was trying to achieve.
Floorwood Solution provided me with a precise quote and was always easily accessible (I received e-mail responses form Patricia at 2:00am on some occasions).
When it came to the Installation - there is no Hardwood Installer out there that does it better! Robert and Darek spent hours prepping the subfloors for the installation, ensuring that every edge was flush and meticulously took their time putting everything together like an intricate puzzle.
It is obvious that Robert & Darek take pride in their work as they didn't stop until everything was perfect throughout the 4 day process…truly amazing to see 2 gentlemen that obviously had passion for their work and truly understood what they were doing.
When it came to clean-up, Robert & Darek left my house cleaner than when it was when they got there! I can definitely vouch for the fact that Floorwood Solutions are the real deal.

We hired Floorwood Solutions based on the reviews posted here and they were amazing. We had them remove the old carpeting and worn-out strip hardwood from our main and second floors plus the staircase and replace it with 5" wide Vintage fumed oak engineered hardwood (and solid oak treads on the stairs). There were a lot of issues with the wonky sub-floor in our 110-year old house and Floorwood fixed it marvelously. Robert and Derek are very skilled in their art and take great pride in their work -- they just don't stop until everything is right. The work site was always left neat at the end of each day and dust control was admirable. Patricia kept the communication moving smoothly through e-mail. The final result is beautiful and we are now inspired to decorate. Thank you Floorwood!

I had Rob and Derek of Floorwood Solutions Inc. remove my builder carpet and install approx 1100sqft of Vintage Gotham Oak Hand Scraped.

We are very please with the results. They were very detailed orientated when installing the flooring and ensured that it was done properly. The subfloor was inspected and fixed in a few areas.

The quality of the work was so impressive, I asked them to quote on the re-doing the hardwood on my 2nd level hallway (the only builder installed hardwood in my house). It was my decision to replace.

However, once I made the decision, they were polite enough to show my how bad the original work was done. When they did the hallway, they corrected the sub-floor which had a slight dip and squeek.

The guys worked hard and took alot of pride in their work.

We've used Floorwood Solutions on a previous home to install maple throughout the main floor, and they did a great job. This time, we needed our living room and the second floor hallway done. The hallway was especially tricky, since the hardwood was replacing carpet, and the nosing under the railing needed to be raised.

The entire job was done in 2 days, and the end result was fantastic. Friendly, professional, fast, and they cleaned up after themselves very well.

I highly recommend them (again)!

We had Floorwood Solutions install about 400 sq feet of Vintage 5" hand scraped hardwood flooring, on the main level of our new townhouse.

I set up the work order through Patricia and she was great to deal with answering all my questions. Robert and Darek arrived early in the morning and were done by the end of the day. The quality of their workmanship is second to none.
