I already had the city shut off the water to my house when I found out that the first plumbing service I called could not come out that day and I'd have to wait until tomorrow morning (they wouldn't even make an appointment without having the water shut off first). When I called Valentin he got back to me relatively quickly, and showed up at my door in 10 minutes! He was very clean and courteous, was able to do the job for me even though the water was not completely shut off. He did great work and I was very happy to have called him instead of a bigger, more expensive plumbing service.

Valentin was our fourth quote to remove the lead pipe from the property line to our house. We needed four quotes as the first three plumbers we talked to suggested a different way of completing the job. Valentin offered the clearest explanation of the process, the most reasonable and least invasive way to complete the job and completed the job on target for price and time. My husband and I would wholeheartedly recommend Valentin for any plumbing job. We will use him again in the future.

After a big flood we required a new toilet. I found Valentin on Homestars, and was not sure what to expect, as this was my first toe using this site. I contacted him Monday afternoon and by Wednesday afternoon we had a fabulous brand new Toto toilet installed. He was reliable, on price, clean and did a great job. I wuuld not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone.

I contacted Valentin the same day after trying a couple of other plumbers listed on this site. He contacted me back right away, explained everything and gave me an honest quote. Valentin came by to fix the plumbing of my bathroom faucet pipes after I upgraded the counter-top and undermount sink, added my faucet as well as shut off valves. He serviced my plumbing needs that afternoon, was clean, professional, gave an honest quote (better than the competitors) and explained everything to me. Valentin used top quality parts, solved a problem with my faucet and offered a warranty as well. Valentin will be the plumber for any future plumbing needs.

My refrigerator water dispenser never worked properly and I was told I needed a valve replacement on a water line. Valentin offered to come the day I called, but I asked him to come the next morning. He was on time, courteous, clean, fast, and did fantastic work - everything you could want. I'm so glad I found him on Homestars. I can't imagine that there's a better plumber than Valentin.

Last night the project began to renovate our powder room. As I was using my reciprocating saw to take out the vanity (not my greatest move) I cut a hole in the hot water line, naturally below the shut off valve.

After spending the whole day yesterday trying to patch up the line with no success (plumber`s puddy is garbage FYI), I finally gave in this morning and looked for a plumber.

Let me tell you, it was worth it. He showed up at my house 45 minutes after I`d called him (right on time) and roughed in my drain and copper water lines. Not knowing much about plumbing, I didn`t quite explain the situation to him when I was on the phone. He said that he would stick to the original quote anyway though because he doesn`t believe in surprise costs.

Lèt`s just say that he service was so phenomenal that I got him to raise the price by $200 because I felt that I wasn`t paying enough.

I`ve got a stack of Valentin`s buisness cards here at home to hand out to anyone who`s looking and I can assure you I have a plumber for life. If only I could find as talented a man to install my pool heater...

I called Valentin to fix a shower faucet leak. He showed up the next morning, took his time to explain what was the problem, and fixed it for a very reasonable price. I also hired him to install a new water service and update the main drain. Once again, his work was awesome.

A slow leak at an elbow joint in a bathroom water-supply pipe was steadily worsening after I'd made an unsuccessful attempt to fix it myself. I called Valentin one evening and, even though it was far from a crisis, he showed up first thing the next morning. The problem was the renovator's hasty pipe fitting and crude, patchy welding, that was obvious to anyone. But Valentin gave a very reasonable cost estimate at the outset of the job and replaced a considerable section of the original pipe, creating a clean, smooth solder that made the original work look ridiculously amateurish. Not a nick or spill inside the cabinet. He even gave me some helpful welding tips in case I tried to play Mr. Fix It again down the road.

We had problems with a blockage in our sink for many months. We live in a condo and the on-site maintenance people couldn't find the problem. Val immediately knew what needed to be done. He had to cut into the cupboard and pipes but did a very neat job and cleaned up thoroughly, with great regard for the floors and counter tops etc. He discovered wood debris that had been stuffed into the pipe by a construction worker (see attached photos). Val was prompt at contacting me and showed up when he said he would. He is professional, polite and also did an excellent job. I would rate him a 15 out of 10 if I could!!
