The Tub Guys

My cast iron clawfoot tub was badly in need of a facelift. The enamel was chipped and discoloured and the tub was generally looking tired. The Tub Guys did a fantastic job....the tub was finished beautifully and brightens the whole bathroom. But what distinguishes this company is their great customer service. They took the time to explain the procedure, the guys arrived right on time and were very respectful and professional. There were no surprises. The office staff were extremely pleasant and helpful in scheduling the appointment and providing all the information.
This is a company that does a great job and cares about its customers.

Our vintage claw foot tub was a mess- the original enamel had worn off and in an attempt to disguise this had been painted, which subsequently began peeling off.
The Tub Guys gave clear (e-mailed) guidelines as to expectations for preparations we were to complete in order for them to begin the job of resurfacing. This included moving out all the furniture. One of the items was too heavy for us to move out and they did this for us, without any fuss.
The work was done quickly and according to schedule. Our tub looks great! The tub guys cleaned up everything, pointed out a number of ways improve our tub (avoiding pooling and possible new gasket for spout), and moved back our heavy cupboard.

Ripping out our old tub and tiles was a job we didn't want to undertake. After researching and finding The Tub Guys, it was a no brainer. These gentlemen were very professional, very accurate with their time lines and did a fantastic job. They are also the only company that goes through the trouble of removing all your fixtures and replacing them so the job gets done right. Their follow up appointment was another touch that the other guys don't do. Above everything, they sell a great product, great service at a fair price. They have a great sense of humour to compliment the great job!!

Dealing with The Tub Guys was great. They were professional, pleaseant to deal with and really knew their stuff. We had our old yellow tub reglazed and it came out like brand new. We are so pleased, we're going to get them to do my sister's old clawfoot tub as well. Two thumbs and would certainly reccomend them to anyone in need of this service.

Old tub in very poor shape. Tiny 1919 downtown Toronto bathroom being renovated. These guys rocked, beautiful job, better than expected results. Very respectful of the house. Friendly and proud of their work. They should be. Easy to work with.

In my 25 year old condo bathroom I needed to replace or re-surface the one-piece fibreglass shower/tub. It was in good shape but badly stained from the main years of use, so I decided to re-surface.
I believe this is a much more difficult job than just a tub. The Tub Guys did a very good job. Very professional !!
At a distance of about 1 meter, visually, I would rate the job as 9.8/10 . At a close distance , visually, I would rate the job as 9.4/10 because there were some area that were not perfect.
Overall, considering the job, I am very satisfied with the quality and appearance of the final product. Thanks.

After signifcant research I chose The Tub Guys to relaze my 1050's bathtub. They were effecient, couretous, did a fabulous job with eco friendly products and key, removed and replaced the plumbing to avoid the general weakness in other glazing jobs of around the drain. The Guys recommended Mayfair to re-chrome my drain as it was an unusual size. All is complete, their followup visit fantastic. An excellent job

The Tub Guys were highly recommended to me and did not disappoint. Very professional and courteous and made our nearly 100 yr old tub look brand new. We have a toddler and I was concerned about possible fumes during the reglazing process. No need to worry - they do the tubs in Sick Kids and the materials they use are safer than other companies and there was zero smell in our house. They even came back when I had some concerns a couple of months later - explained we had hard water in the house and how to effectively clean it so it maintains its beautiful finish. Can't say enough nice things about them!

The Tubs Guys did a great job refinishing the tiles surrounding our walk in shower. They came on time, were friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. As for the tiles, well they look like brand new white tiles. A welcome change from the ugly brown before.
