Straight Edge Painting

We are renovanting an old victorian style house and had asked Miko to come to London help us out with all the painting. He was very proffesional and I appreciate the time he took to prep the areas and finish the job to our specifictions. I was very happy with all the work he had done and will be using him on our next project in April. Thanks again Miko

We just spent a lot of money on the renovation of our entire home and still haven't gotten over the frustations the designer company had put us through so we were nervous about dealing with another trade sperson. We really needed someone to do a designer level of paint job to consistently reflect the newly designed home. However, only have a limited budget left for this project because the reno drained us dry. When we contacted Straight Edge, we explained our financial situation to them, Miko was so understanding. He broke down the cost of each room for the whole house. He is flexible in the scheduling of just the few rooms for now and the others later on. When we saw the product of his work for one of the rooms and the level of dedication he put into his project, we were so impressed that we decided to ask him to do the complete house. It conflicted with his other projects, but he was very accommodating. We are extremely happy with Straight Edge and we would use them again in the future.

I am selling my condo and I needed my condo completed re-painted.

Miko did an excellent job of painting everything in the condo. He was great to deal with and provided an accurate ETA on when the job would be complete. He also did an excellent job fixing any problems on the wall.

I am currently in the process of selling my house. Based on previous experience with renovations, I am aware of how a sloppy paint and trim job can affect the finished product.

I contacted several companies off of Homestars, all of whom were professional, and courteous.
I decided to go with Miko primarily based on the fact that he presented himself as reasonable, caring, and a professional who takes pride in his work.

Miko was asked to paint the entire house, including trim work, baseboards, and doors. Additionally, the two bathroom ceilings and part of the kitchen required fairly extensive sanding/patching and refinishing. The only rooms Miko was not asked to paint were the family, living, and dining room as they had been recently renovated.

Miko arrived a day late due to unforseen delays at his previous project, but kept me abreast of this at all times. His team is courteous, professional, and I felt very comfortable having them in my house.
Also: At the last minute I asked Miko if he would be able to paint my kitchen cabinet doors, which was not part of the initial quote. After taking a look at what would be involved, Miko gave me a VERY fair price to paint the cabinet doors and the end result is simply wonderful! I have a smile on my face every time I look at the new kitchen.

With Miko, the salient points are these: Exceptional quality. Exceptional Value. No shortcuts or shoddy work. He takes pride in what he does and it shows in his work. His team is great, and I would give Miko my highest recommendation without reservation! Renovations are very stressful on families, and the best thing one can do is try to make an informed decision.

Miko deserves a 10/10, in my estimation. I have already referred him to a friend whose condo he will be working on to fix a shoddy paint job and Miko will also be coming in to my new home to do some paint work there.

Miko was easy to work with and finished the job within in the timelines provided. Our house is older and he did a good job and patching the wall and smoothing it out before painting. The work was well done and we were very satisfied with the results.

Miko was recommended by a friend of mine and not only provided the best quote, but was completely flexible with his schedule.

I didn't like the colour of paint I had initially chosen and he gave me a recommendation which I decided to go with and now absolutely LOVE. He was very understanding when I told him I didn't like the colour and tried his best to help me as opposed to being frustrated that he was going to have to start again!

He was pleasant to be around while he worked, and happy to accommodate my availability and work late into the evening when required. He has an eye for detail and is open to any constructive feedback you need to share. He really does want the job to be perfect and is happy to touch anything up that you ask for.

We just got our floors done and we were looking to have the Baseboards painted along with the living room, kitchen, and upstairs & downstairs hallways. We were having a hard time finding someone as a lot of the companies were booked. We called Miko and although he was booked, he was kind of enough to squeeze us in. We left him our key and he had the job done in 3 days. Miko was very professional and our house looks amazing! It looks like a completely different house! Straight Edge Painting was contracted to paint our living room, dining room, a curved wall stairwell and a hallway with multiple doors. We were hoping for very careful work as we had gone to great expense on upgrading the baseboards and crown molding as well as the trim around all doors. The job done exceeded our expectations. They even fixed some errors made by a previous painting job in another room! Overall they showed up when they said they would, the job was completed when they said it would be and the level of workmanship is outstanding. Very professional and curteous with careful consideration and care of our house during the work process.

Miko has a very good attention to detail and did a fabulous job painting two rooms for us.
