Reliable Home Comfort

We had a leak around the floor of our furnace that had been coming and going over the last month. I googled furnace repair in Brampton, and Reliable Home Comfort came up quickly, among a few other local companies.

Dave from Reliable was the only one that picked up the phone at 5 pm on Sunday. He was out here at 9:30 pm, and had my problem completely fixed and explained by 9:50 pm.

I was very impressed by how quickly he understood the nature of the issue, and what needed to be done. He explained to me what the previous owner had tried to do, why it was wrong, and what would need to be done in the future.

I strongly recommend Reliable Home Comfort for any future furnace/AC work.

We were very impressed right from the start with Dave and his team. We initially met them when we had water heater trouble. We were extremely satisfied with their service and communication and decided to proceed with a larger job. We had them install a new furnace and air conditioner as both our units were old and we were interested in qualifying for the eco energy grants. Dave and his team were on time, professional, clean and completed the job in one day. Dave was also able to upgrade our A/C unit to a more efficient model without added cost. We have already passed on their name to friends and neighbors and will happily use their company again!

Hi Dave…..everything is fine!!!!….thank you for all your efforts….I was truly surprised to see Liviu….what a great guy!!!….he and Andrew share the same work ethics….they ensure that the customer is completely satisfied with the installation……NOW THAT”S SERVICE!!!….not very typical to find in such a demanding industry……Now let’s not forget about Jaimie…he and Liviu worked very hard in replacing my old furnace and most recently, Jamie also assisted me in the startup of my old AC…..

I was very impressed with Reliable Comfort Heating and Air condtioning Co. I called them because of the reviews on homestars. They had a 10 rating by everyone. I talked to Dave and he gave me excellent advise even though he could not install the air conditioner for me. He told be exactly what to buy and where to go to get the best air condtioning system for my furnace. He was so helpful and kind and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and took the TIME!!!!! Thank you Dave and you will be called if I do need any service on either of my systems!!! Nice to see people caring for people more than just MONEY

I Purchased A/C from Home Comfort and had installed by them last year - 2009. Worked okay for that year but, now May 2010 it started to give problems with cooling. Apparently, there was a problem with the valve. But thanks to one of Reliable Home Comfort's Technician the problem has been rectify. My AC works perfect now. Thank you for the service call.

This is the 2nd installation that Reliable has done for me in the past year (the 1st was for my own home and this time was for my parents' home as we are trying to take advantage of the eco rebates). Being a prudent individual, I checked with the usual "big names" and then with a smaller discount company before inviting back Reliable. Dave gave me a quote that was very competitive and also included some extras to seal the deal such as 10 year service maintenance, humidifier, bbq line adjustment, and returning my rental water heater. The installation was done by Andrew and Livio. Since we were planning some future renovations in the basement and backyard, the installers were able to accommodate some difficult venting to the side of the house (and out of sight). After the installation, my parents commented that the installers did a good job in positioning both the inside units as well as the venting to the outside. We would not hesitate to recommend Reliable Home Comfort to our friends and family.

I called Reliable Home Service for a spring check-up of my furnace and central air. Walt was on time, efficient and personable. He didn't mind my looking over his shoulder and asking questions.
I will use them every year from now on and would call them for any emergencies (Which I hope is Never, never necessary!)

I first dealt with Reliable when my furnace died on me this winter. Rather than try and sell me a service contract (like Enbridge did) they came over in a few hours (after midnight on a Sunday) and repaired the furnace for $75. The tech who came be confirmed what others had told me about the furnace, that it was too large from my home.

Since I knew my furnace would die some day soon and that I also had limited time before my energy audit expired, I decided to get Reliable to come and quote me a price. Dave came by and recommended a smaller furnace. He was able to book an appointment at my convenience very quickly.

The two installers were very nice and did a good job of keeping my home tidy. They also accommodated my request to mover the position of the new furnace. This involved a bit more work but they were happy to do it at no extra charge. They were also happy to answer some questions I had regarding the installation.

While they were installing the new furnace they found it had a defect from the manufacturer, but because it was a Saturday they couldn't get the same type of furnace for me. So instead they gave me a better furnace at no extra charge. That's great service.

They were done in about 6 hours and cleaned up everything before they left. My new furnace is great.

I would highly recommend these guys.

Our blower stopped working over the weekend. I called Reliable Home Comfort at 8 AM and a serviceman arrived by 10 AM. We had just moved into the house and finished a lot of work – it was a simple fix of replacing the filter which was clogged and caused the unit to overheat and shut down. While there I asked the serviceman to check and fix our gas fireplaces which needed attention and also connect our gas grill to the house. Work was done well and efficiently - would highly recommend.

We intended to replace our old furnace, A/C and water heater. Dave answered to our enquiry promtly through the phone. The next day, Rob came and explained everything to us and sent us a quotation later that day. Andrew and Liviu came the next week and had everything done in 1 1/2 days. They cleaned and left. They are real pros and did an excellent installation job. We are very satified with this company. we would not hesitate in recommending Dave and Reliable Home Comfort to our friends and relatives!
