We recently had the floors in our entire house, including the kitchen replaced with hardwood. As the job was so big, we spent considerable time researching and making sure we found the right team, to complete the job. Our experience, from beginning to end with Speers Flooring was amazing. Peter Ricci was very professional, wonderful to work with, always on time, and very accommodating. The sales people in the store were never pushy, and always had answers to our questions. The installers Joseph and Peter were meticulous, and did an outstanding job, finishing ahead of schedule. The floors look beautiful and I can only rave about our experience. I would highly recommend Speers Flooring to my family and friends. In fact, we were so happy with the quality of customer service and installation that we have now added three additional projects to be completed by Speers in the near future.

Speers Flooring was recommended to my husband and I, and we can highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality service. Our new condo was in need of total renovation, and we decided to start with the flooring. We were not living in Canada when the work was done, and it was a delight to return and see all the tired old white carpeting in the Living/Dining, Hall & 2 bedrooms had been replaced with Quick Step Veresque Bay Maple laminate with new elegant baseboards throughout. Speer did the work on schedule and at a very reasonable cost. The professionalism and attention to client service was impressive. Speers also did the kitchen & bathroom tiling later in the ongoing renovations. We were also very pleased with this work. A nice surprise was finding the storeroom also laminated and with new baseboards, although this was not asked for or in the quote and was done on Speers' initiative and their cost. Peter Ricci and his assistant Christine organised all the work with us via email whilst we were in Switzerland, and our trust in this company was well served.

I hired Speers Flooring to redo all the floors in my newly purchased home. I needed all of the carpets, hardwood and tiles removed and new hardwood and tiles installed. I was completely happy with the Speers Flooring representative who handled the work and with the final product. Because the representative was so capable and had such a helpful attitude, I had no stress at all even though I was living in another town when the work was being done. The work quality was great. I would always use Speers Flooring again for future needs.

We've been very disappointed with our service from Speers and wouldn't recommend them. We chose to have a large portion of our home installed with Torlys Cork flooring since Speers had a very large area of their store laid with the same product. We asked MANY questions about it, from maintenance and wear and tear - and we were assured it would be easy to care for.

The first issue started with the 'professional' installation - while we cannot prove it, the installers managed to nail through an electrical wire and we had to have a large portion of our upstairs rewired. We contacted Speers to discuss and they never returned our call. While we understand that accidents can happen with unseen wiring, we were disappointed that there was no effort made to remedy the situation.

While we love the look of the floors, we have since had severe "bleaching" of the cork. When moving furniture within two rooms, on two different floors, and in two different ends of the house, we noticed that there was distinct lines of the original colour and the areas not covered. We contacted Speers who brought Toryls in to inspect. They refuse to acknowledge there is a problem with it and blame the sunlight - however, we have new UV coated windows (which they suggest), curtains and blinds (which they suggest) and indirect sunlight.

They have basically said it is stated in their product line catalogues and on the packaging that bleaching can occur. We were never given a cataloge as we picked the colour based on their store sample, and we paid for the installation so we have no packaging (and never saw it)

It's so severe, it would make a future sale of our home difficult.

We had been to Speers (and other flooring companies) on a number of occasions and at great lengths to discuss what type of product to purchase. We thought we had done our homework diligently and made the right decision. Obviously we didn't choose a product that would work well in our home, and unfortunately wasted money on what we thought would be a great investment. We will not be returning to Speers Flooring.

We had laminate installed in our front room. The crew was punctual and extremely tidy. We are very pleased with the results - the floor looks excellent. I would definitely use Speers Flooring again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

In June of 2014 we had Speers Flooring remove tile, broadloom and hardwood from the main floor of our home and install hardwood throughout. We couldn't be happier with the results.

After much research we decided on Speers due to their low pressure, helpful staff and quality products. From initial quote to the final install we are more than happy with the results.

The initial quote by Peter Ricci was extremely detailed and accurate. Pricing was more than fair and we decided to have Speers handle all the demolition of our existing floor (mostly 12 inch builder's tile). Randy and his team did a great job of removal and disposal.

With the help of Wayne, we chose Superior Flooring's Terrain Rift and Quartered White Oak. Superior Flooring is based in Rockwood Ontario. It feels good to support a Canadian company that makes a great product. Joseph and Peter did an excellent job of installation.

Every day we have the pleasure of walking on our beautiful floor. Speers Flooring did an outstanding job and we highly recommend them to our friends and family.

My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received from Speers Flooring. We were looking to match the flooring in our living room, and salesman Matt knew right away that the sample we had was Vintage "vienna" flooring. We knew then that we had to get an estimate. This is the second time we've worked with Speers flooring and for both times we worked with Greg. He was great in helping us choose the type and style of the flooring for our main floor that worked with our budget. The floor was installed perfectly by Randy and his helper and the laminate has really held up to both our dogs running around. We will definitely recommend Speers to anyone that needs any flooring done! Thanks again!
