We had been itching to update the look of our exterior doors since we moved into our house and we finally decided to move forward. We choose What a Pane based on all the positive reviews and are pleased to say that they lived up to their expectations.

Barry was wonderful to work with. He was patient and allowed us the time we needed to make up our minds on the design and was happy to work with us to create something that, in our opinion, is a stunning transformation. I was extremely impressed at how we were able to completely customize our insert if we so chose- we were able to dictate the dimensions, glass types, and even modify the design itself. Barry was extremely helpful in offering ideas and suggestions and successfully realized our vision.

His prices were very reasonable. For what I paid I received two custom door inserts and two exterior lock sets. I called around and some vendors were much more. I found him to be fair, honest and reliable- he always answered his phone and emails quickly and showed up when he said he would.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Barry and What A Pane, I was thoroughly impressed by their price, product and service. Thanks Barry!

I was checking out door inserts from different companies and found,
What A Pane, I called and spoke with Barry, he was extremely helpful and answered all my questions, he gave me the website so that I could choose my inserts, I liked 4 so Barry brought all 4 to our house and set them against the doors so that we could get a better idea of what they looked like. we chose the one we liked it was installed that day.
Now we are ordering an insert for our transom window next also our powder room window.

My husband and I have recently moved and we wanted to put in glass inserts in our front doors. We had used this company in our last home and were extremely happy with their service, so we called them again. They were professional, timely, and paid close attention to detail. We had to get custom sized panes and so they put in temporary panes until our custom order was complete. I especially loved that they were always on time for appointments and would not leave until the work was done to the highest standard. I’ve recommended them to my family and friends. Definitely a great company to deal with!

The company was professional, reliable and reasonably priced. The window looks fantastic. Even the turnaround time was fast. Honestly what more can you ask for?

Our entryway was dark and cramped. We added a sandblasted window and now the area is bright and airy. Plus, we can see when someone is at the door.

We are absolutely thrilled with our beautiful customized front door inserts. When we saw the original design, it was for two doors. But luckily Neil and Barry were willing to create a custom design for our single door. The day of installation was quick and efficient and we love our new door!
