Tony and the installers at Ambia Windows and Doors have been fantastic to work with. We ended up needing to replace every window, brick to brick, on our main and upper floor.

Tony was responsive, very knowledgeable, and patient with us during the entire process. The quality and craftsmanship of the windows ensure that our windows are not only functional, but beautiful!

Tony and the installers were open, communicative, and respectful (and safe!) while installing during a pandemic. We couldn't recommend Ambia Windows and Doors any more - we are incredibly happy with the entire process.

I had replaced my windows and patio door in 2018 by Ambia after getting quotes and meeting with several window companies. I was so happy with the results and that experience that when we decided to replace the front door, along with other exterior doors and two windows, I contacted Ambia Windows and Doors again.

Given that I never purchased replacement doors before, Tony at Ambia was great in helping me through the process, showing me what the different options were and making recommendations along the way.

As we wanted a nicer front door we ended up going with a Mastergrain fiberglass door, and Avanti steel doors for the other doors, and windows from Vinylbilt which matched the windows that were installed in 2018. One particular feature I like with the side door is going with built in blinds in the glass which made it very convenience as the door faces the neighbour and gives us that privacy without needing to separate get window treatments. Tony arranged for us to meet with the Mastergrain representative in their showroom where we got to see the doors, look at the various colours and options and the Mastergrain person was incredibly helpful. We really liked how realistic to wood the doors were including grain that you can feel, but with great durability of fiberglass and features such as the multipoint locking mechanism

Overall, it was a no pressure buying experience as it was when I had the windows replaced, and Tony was very helpful with the whole process. They provided a good price upfront and Erik and the team did a great job with the installation. One of the benefits of the new doors is that we did not feel any outside air coming in anymore and the laundry room which was chilly before was much warmer after the door replacement.

We were in the middle of a reno when we discovered that our patio was leaking. When I called, both Tony and Jimmy were so professional and knowledgeable that we knew we were in good hands. We needed to replace the windows and blinds in our 35 year old house and we selected Ambia after researching the company. We had over 50 large windows to be removed and replaced and half of them needed a combination of motorized and manually operated blinds.

Having completed the work on time and on budget we are completely satisfied with the quality of the work and final result. Tony and his colleagues worked with us at each step to ensure they understood what we wanted and that it suited our home. The installers were knowledgeable and efficient and listened to us as the job progressed.

The windows have been installed now for an entire season and they have performed very well, there is no condensation problems with the triple glazing. The overall climate within the house has improved from the triple glazing and the solar coatings which has made the house noticeably more comfortable throughout the seasons.

We use Alexa to control the blinds and set up schedules which prevents harsh morning and afternoon light from entering the home. The blinds are also programmed to lower in the evening for privacy taking into account the suns changing position throughout the year and daylight saving time.
