Asphalt Care Driveway Sealing & Repairs

I needed a contractor to provide a solution to surface cracking that was evident along the joint between my house and a public laneway. I found Asphalt Care on HomeStars, and they were very quick to respond. I sent David some photographs, we agreed on a price, and he and Daniel were at my place the next day! They injected the cracks with a rubberized compound, applied a damp proof coating over the top, then applied hot mix asphalt over the top. Then they came back the next day to spray another layer of the rubberized sealer. I'm very happy with the service that Asphalt Care provided.

I noticed that my driveway needed some sealing work done to it , since I joined home stars I always read reviews for what service I want . Asphalt care had great reviews (for obvious reasons). When I called about my driveway the owner Dave was very kind and professional, he had no problem with coming to Bradford for a great price to do my driveway. In no time Daniel came and sealed my driveway , I was very pleased with my results ! They got absolutely no sealer on my interlocking and now my driveway looks like it's brand new!
I recommend asphalt care to everyone!
I will defiantly use them again in the future!

Asphalt Care were friendly, easy to work with, did a great job and left the place behind clean and neat. They also had good advice for an issue of pooling I had and did the extra work without a problem. I would use them again.

Asphalt Care did a great job sealing and repairing age cracks.on my double driveway, especially since the city repaired the sidewalk and lower quarter of my driveway. I wanted to restore the beauty and add years to the driveway. The look did not match up. Dave also told me not to fill i n the cracks with liquid asphalt as it would show through and not match up. Glad I left it in his hands as he recommended. Also he took care not to allow the product to go on my interlock cobblestone walkway. Now I have beautiful results that will last years. I had Dave from Asphalt care Inc. and his crew come in last year to do some catch basin work and it was great. This year because of the bad weather we had some more work to be done to the driveway. Dave and Daniel came out and did more asphalt work.

Unfortunately I have to update my review. I've been chasing Dave since last fall to address water pooling at the base of the driveway. Over a dozen messages were sent promising that he would come out and address the problem.
In March I discovered that the crack he repaired last fall had returned, as well the asphalt at the base of the driveway was crumbling. A concrete hump in front of my garage door was supposed to be replaced last summer. Dave decided that it was ok and that too has crumbled apart.
Dave did come out in March to look at the driveway and promised me that I would be first on his list once the weather had turned for good. He came out a second time to look at the driveway and assured me that he was doing a neighbors house and he would do the repairs while he was in the neighborhood. Many messages were sent back and forth with assurances that he would do the repairs. Well, last weekend I noticed that he was totally finished with the neighbors driveway and did not come to my house to fix the problems.
Now he no longer returns messages and does not take my phone calls. Sorry, but Dave and Asphalt Care did not live up to the advertised guarantee.

Sorry, Dave, but your statements are not accurate. Last summer I hired your company to seal the driveway, fix a crack that had developed and to address water pooling at the bottom of the driveway. I PAID for this service. You did the work in July. In August I contacted you that we still had a water pooling problem on the right side of the driveway. You promised to come and take a look. Then started a series of messages from August until March with you promising to come over. On March 26 your message to me is that you came by and saw where the water was pooling. You told me that you have some work on Regatta Cr. and when you are in the area you will come and repair it. On April 28 you told me that the job on Regatta was prepped and when you came to finish that one you were going to do mine. May 2 you said you were not able to finish Regatta and that and that as soon as you do your will be over. On May 16 I saw that the job on Regatta was completed and you did not come to my house to fix the problems. At that point you did not take my phone calls and have stopped returning messages. So, as of May 2 you were coming to do the repairs. And now you have decided not to do them.

I called my usual guy left two messages didn't hear back so I called David's company after reading all the great reviews! David answered the phone immediately and scheduled an appointment the same an arrived as scheduled. Very impressed with the work, service and that he was reliable. Work was done as promised and I would recommend David and his company to anyone! Great to do business with you David see you next time.

Don't waste your money by going to any other company. Dave and Daniel did an amazing job for my driveway and my mother's driveway. I have a small driveway and they charged me a bargain price. My mom's driveway is huge and he gave her a great deal. It would have taken about 6 buckets from Canadian Tire and my whole weekend to do it. They did it in a short time which saved me so much time and strength. Not only that, the formula that they use is of high quality and there are no streaks and a beautiful finish. It covers a lot of the imperfections. Also they know how to fill in the gaps between the driveway and the sidewalk & garage. They filled in a notable crack in the middle of my driveway all at no extra charge. They used a blower to clean off my mom's driveway and her neighbours place so there would be no complaints from them. Water beads up nicely so you know it's a good seal. They also sealed the city boulevard so it all matches. I will never buy that driveway sealer in the bucket again. Dave says the seal is good for two years but I think I will get mine sealed next year to ensure my driveway keeps in top condition. After this past winter, I was wondering if my driveway would hold up for long but now with Asphalt Care I know it will. I highly recommend their work. I almost went with a competitor but when they changed their phone number I was very suspicious. When I called them they showed up on the day they said and even phoned to say they would be a little late. That's good service. The reviews here made me give them an opportunity and I am so glad I decided to go with their service. When my mom's neighbours saw the workmanship, a few of them got their driveways done as well. Great job guys!
