Porch landing had sunk significantly, so brickwork was replaced by poured concrete and flagstones. In addition a roof to match the projecting gutter was installed. Workers were pleasant and knowledgeable, as well as expert.

We are very pleased with our new front steps and porch. QEW Contracting did an amazing job and delivered everything they said they would. In addition to the gorgeous end product, it is important to note that we were extremely pleased with the 3 different individuals who were involved in the actual work. Each of the contractors were pleasant to have around, were diligent and dedicated workers, and cleaned up at the end of every day. We initially found QEW Contracting's prices on the high side but soon realized that Saverio had a close watch on every step of the project and kept us informed. It was well worth the monies spent. We would definitely recommend QEW Contracting!

The work was very well done and looks great.
Saverio and Barry offered alternatives as to materials and colours and installation together with their suggestions with their reasons.
The work started on time, and was completed on time. While the work was being done they kept me informed as to the impact weather could have on the completion. While weather wasnt a factor, it is comforting to know that it wouldnt have been a surprise to me if rain did start.
The area was kept fairly neat and clean was the work was being done and materials and tools were put away at night. When the the work was going to create dust Barry let us know to close doors and windows and move cars to minimize the impact.
I would hesitate to recommend QEW.

Moved into an almost 50-year-old house that needed a lot of exterior TLC. I retained the services of QEW Contracting based on previous HomeStars reviews.

The scope of the project(s) included residing the entire house, replacing the front doors, building a new front porch and steps, and replacing a retaining wall and walkway.

Saverio (owner of QEW) was frequently on site and explained how each step of the project would unfold. His crew was always on time, worked quickly, and left the worksite spotless. Tina in the office was lovely.

I just need to paint my garage door and add gardens and itll look like a brand-new house!

Saverio and Barrie were excellent. They were both professional, punctual, and very personable. Saverio was excellent with communication and prompt quoting. Barrie did excellent stone work and cleaned up each day. They are both honest and down to earth guys.
