They did a good job. They started early, finished in one day and cleaned up afterward. They had competitive pricing and stuck to the estimate with no hidden costs. I would use them again depending on the job and I would get an estimate first

we needed a door very quickly and installed before christmas. Typically a door like ours would take 8-10 weeks. they had it here, painted and installed in 5. so grateful to have a door! and really appreciate the extra mile to make it happen.

I recently had decided to have all the windows, doors and siding replaced in my house, 7 windows, 2 doors and a patio door. I searched around and received quotes from a few different window companies here in Calgary. Greg Martineau Projects price came in right in the middle of the other two contractors, but i am very happy I didn’t go with anyone else.
Andrew, one of Greg Martineau's Sales Staff came out and was right on time. He was one of the most courteous and friendly salesman I have ever met. He made us feel like he was there to help give us advice on upgrading our house rather than there to sell something to us. He took initial measurements and gave us a very specific quote.
When we decided to go ahead with Greg Martineau Projects, Andrew returned to take final measurements. We signed a contract and left a deposit. Andrew stipulated that the lead time for our project was about 6 to 9 weeks, but we were reassured of our decision after our meeting with Andrew.
8 weeks later we received our install. The crew installing the windows were punctual, kind and incredibly courteous. The one thing that stuck out the most was the professionalism displayed by the crew as they were all in uniforms and showed extraordinary care for our house. They were very organized and cleaned up after themselves. You could hardly tell that there was such a major renovation going on at our place. It took the crew 2 days to finish our project. When they finished they took time to go around our house many times making certain they cleaned every last spec of any garbage they may have left. The house and yard were left spotless.
The day after the install, a customer service rep for Greg Martineau called to check to see if we had any concerns or comments from our job. Having this follow up sealed the deal for us knowing that we made the correct decision with our contractor.
I would highly recommend Greg Martineau Projects to anyone that wants to have their job done right. Every single person we dealt with at Greg Martineau Projects made us feel as though we were part of the family. I will be using Greg Martineau Projects again very soon to replace the siding on my home!

Greg Martineau Projects - should put less effort into marketing and more into service. Wish I would have checked out some reviews and talked to people before I signed. I have heard and seen the advertisements for years, and assumed that they would be accurate and not hyperbole.

Waited a long time to do this project, waited another long time after the contract was signed before the work was started. In fairness the weather during the summer we never had delayed a lot of things. Still, I paid $500 for the door to be painted, expecting a professional job. The plugs holding in the window weren't even sanded before the door was painted. I would have done a better job myself. The quality of this work will not garner them further work from me, or anybody who sees the job. In the end what you do speaks louder than what you say.

Despite pointing this out to two different people from Greg Martineau including twice to the "customer satisfaction follow-up caller -- not only did I not an apology, but the promised return phone call has never materialized. I might have thought it was an oversight -- but I also have had no response to requests for service/warranty work to adjust the door. The door does not close properly, one needs to pull it shut while locking it. Not very efficient when one is heading to work with portfolio, purse and lunch bag.

Needless to say I have hired a different contractor to replace siding, soffit(sp?)and fascia. One that advertises less, but has glowing customer satisfaction reviews.

I have offered to show the door to any of my neighbors who are considering replacing their doors, and ask me if I would recommend GMP. A picture IS worth a thousand words.

They did eventually come and fix the problems with the door - it just takes them a long time and I had to adjust my schedule to accommodate their timetable.

They replaced the patio door and did a great initial job on the install. After a while, it began to leak into the gararage below. It was discovered that a seal was not completed properly. I called them to see if they would fix it but did not hear back and ended up fixing it on my own.

Greg Martineau replaced one window, on-time and within price. They were efficient, clean and pleasant before, during and after. I've had no problems since. It is sometimes difficult getting someone good in to do a small job, however, I highly recommend this contractor.

Greg Martineau Projects has a tremendous sales and marketing team, but they over promise and under deliver. Perhaps they're too busy for their own good. We purchased a new front window on June 8 and the installation was scheduled for the end of August while my wife was on vacation with the kids. The end of August came and went and the installation never occurred. We did receive a letter advising us that our installation was just weeks away and would occur sometime in September. No installation occurred in September. In October we received a phone call letting us know a crew was in the area and would be inspecting our home in preparation for the imminent installation of our window. We never saw a crew and we never saw the window.

While all this time was passing, we purchased a new home. In November when we received another call advising us that our window was just about to be installed, we advised the caller that the window was no longer necessary. We asked if we could transfer our deposit to a cheaper window or to the new home. We were told this was not possible. We asked if we could speak to someone in authority and we were told to call Greg Martineau himself. Try calling Greg Martineau. He doesn't have his own voicemail box and messages left for him on other people's machines were not returned. Try calling the marketing team. They don't have their own voicemail box; a recording says the company's marketing services are outsourced.

After my last conversation with them, Greg Martineau Projects kept our $3,000 deposit (which they had the right to do) and we haven't heard from them since. In the end, their decision to take forever to install a window saved us $6,000. Greg Martineau Projects saves you money.
