We booked city concrete because of the great reviews on home stars and, because they could start/finish the project within the timelines we needed.

We had a great overall finish on the project. However, it was not without its road bumps. We had a lot of misunderstanding and gaps in communication from our project manager. However we eventually were able to resolve the issues to our satisfaction and most of this came as a result of working with the owner, Mohammed instead.

Once we got back on track with Mo, he ensured the project was completed In a timely manner and right. His crew is very hardworking and I couldn't believe the hours they would pull in one day.

And the project looked great when all done- which was our ultimate goal. Overall we are happy- but make sure you are either working with Mo.

Excellent job, cost effective and in a timely manner. They gave us the most effective solution to a frost problem. We are sure frost will be scared to come back after such an amazing job...LOL

Mohamed was very professional, knowledgeable, honest and pleasant to deal with. His crew of men were also very professional and delivered quality workmanship, having respect of the property and in dealing with the owners which were two very elderly people. I would and do recommend this company for anyone needing concrete services.

I was in desperate and urgent need of concrete. Mohamed and team were able to dispatch a truck in minutes, and followed up with me every step of the way to ensure it was delivered in a very timely fashion. Truly one of my best customer experiences.

Working with Mohamed and his crew was a pleasure. Mohamed visited with us a few times while we were working out the details of the project and the quote. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. The quote wasn't the cheapest but it was still reasonable. Mohamed's insistence on getting permits was the deciding factor for me. He continually stressed on doing it the right way.
It was tough to book a time to get the project started but given the nature of the business where weather plays a major factor in scheduling, I understood.
Once work started his crew was punctual (always starting first thing in the morning), polite/professional like he is, and very respectful of our property and our neighbours. Mohamed was on site daily and kept us up to date on the progress with daily conversations and emails if our paths didn't cross.
I am very happy that I chose City Concrete to work with. They took the stress out of this project. Mohamed has put together a fantastic crew and runs his business with professionalism and honesty. One of the best contractors I have ever encountered. I highly recommend them.

Work completed:
- New porch with suspended slab and foundation wall
- Porch cover/portico attached to the house; Shingled and supported by columns
- Walkways/curbs along the length of the driveway and to the front door.
- Sidewalk at the side of the house leading to a back patio
- Back patio
- All concreted was patterned and sealed with an anti-slip coating

When receiving a quote you never know what you're getting. I felt very good after initially speaking with Mohammed. He's very trustworthy and true to his word regarding the work. You can't go wrong - I highly recommend him!
