We actually found Almac through Homestars and are happy we listened to the reviews. Our project involved removing a TON of overgrown foliage, demolishing an old greenhouse, building a fence and essentially creating a ton more usable outdoor space from our existing small yard. Alan and his team did an amazing job! The detailed drawings and plans created from the start gave us a clear idea of what to expect and we were even pleasantly surprised when they were able to start our project weeks before they had initially planned, They had a team of people there every single day for a week to get it all done and it was amazing how they pulled it all together so fast and the quality of work was second to none - we easily have the sturdiest, best looking fence in the neighborhood! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work on time and budget - looking forward to using them for our front yard phase 2.hopefully next year.

Alan and his reliable team once again worked magic in my garden. So many of us have those awkward side areas between houses and I decided to clean mine up ready for patio use or a good foundation for a storage unit. Having already put in an interlocking sidewalk for me, Almac extended this into a fabulous clean attractive area. He cleverly used the same type of brick and some of my old brick, creating a really nice pattern, transforming the area completely! They are punctual, clean, respectful and "think on their feet" to solve problems! I know I can count on them to get the job done perfectly and that makes all the difference!

We have been dealing with a drainage issue is our yard for a number of years and consulted with Allen, as we had used Almac before and were pleased with their work. Allen came up with a simple solution to our problem that did not require major landscaping. We appreciated their thoroughness and clean up and fine tuning of the project.

Our primary reason for hiring Almac Landscapes Ltd. was to re-slope the grade along one side of our house, to ensure that water drains away from the foundation; this was a fairly extensive job involving a long strip of land running from the back of the house to the front sidewalk. At the same time we asked Almac to build a couple of planters in front of the house around some existing shrubbery and plant beds. Alan and his crew were knowledgeable, professional and wonderful to deal with. The work was started and completed as scheduled and the crew was extremely efficient, hardworking, respectful of the neighbouring property, and tidied up on a daily basis. They did a wonderful job on the planters, and the design and shape complements the surrounding landscape – it is very evident that they take pride in their work and we are very pleased with the end result.

We needed some landscaping done in our front yard and had used Almac before, many years ago. So we called them for advice and an estimate. All in all, they did a great job with good suggestions, high quality workmanship and excellent housekeeping at the work site. We are very pleased with the final product and have had a number of compliments from neighbours and passers by.

Had the Almac team back for my backyard this time. Alan, George, Dennis and crew once again did an amazing job. These guys show up at 7am and get the job done. I love how they work with you and meet daily with you to make sure you are happy and make suggestions. As a single women these guys go above and beyond in helping which is so appreciated. Highly recommend the Almac team.

We are very pleased with the job Alan, George, Dennis and crew did for us. Existing lower deck was removed and interlocking brick was installed, as well as slate placed on the walkout basement steps. Cedar railing and steps to upper deck were also installed. Wow, what a difference in just a week. Alan's crew were hard working, polite and fun to have around. They really looked forward to my wife's home made cookies at coffee time. We are looking forward to having them back in the spring to replace the upper deck. They were very professional and did an excellent job.

Al, George, his foreman and his crew did a superior job in our backyard. They had a crew there every morning at 7am and worked hard throughout the day. Neighbors commented on the large crew of busy beavers in our yard every day.
George looked for feedback and suggested ideas regularly to ensure our needs and vision came true. This is a vision that we worked with Alan on for over a year starting from idea to draft then a final plan that came to life in a few short weeks this summer.
We absolutely love our new backyard and deck. It fits perfectly with our new hot tub and we already had many gatherings there before the snow flew. We will be enjoying our new "Almac creation" for many years to come.

Once again it was a pleasure to have the crew of Almac Landscapes back doing a project for me. The removal of railway ties that my husband and I put in 40 years ago was a job and a half but it was done with great expertise and care in not wrecking my perennial flower garden. They came when I was told they would be here,junk was removed as the project progressed and the laying of the bricks was done with great care. The wall looks fabulous and was completed in the time I was told. Look forward to another project with this company Thanks Al.

The Almac team was back again this year. The project was to place the concrete blocks with paving bricks . The area was approximately 11.5’ wide to 3.2’ wide and 85’ long. They, also removed a big ugly step and replaced it with a smaller half circle step. It was a pleasure a to have these young men doing the work. They were pleasant, fun and all enjoy their work. It was a wonderful job and all done in 3 days – even with several rain down pours.
When my lawn person came, he was very impressed with the “super hiway” – his term for the new paving.
Thanks guys – beautiful job. Almac is my only go to landscapers!!!
