I bought a coupon from Groupon for carpet cleaning for $59.95. The technician arrived and told me they would not clean the carpets without sanitizing (and extra $45.00). When I said I was not interested in the sanitizing, the technician told me it was part of the coupon deal and it was written in fine print on the coupon. Without the sanitizing (and additional cost) he refused to clean the carpet. I had no choice but to pay the additional $45.00, otherwise the coupon (that I had already paid $59.95 for) would be useless. I contacted the company 3 times and was told that the owner would talk to the technician and was told to call back later. After 3 calls and the owner still had not talked to the technician, I gave up.
I would avoid this company as they are shady. They are not interested in gaining long-term customers - they are just interested in the quick (and dirty) bucks. Not someone I am interested in working with.
When all was said and done, the carpet cleaning cost me more than it would have if I had called in Alberta Carpet Cleaning again. This is not in the spirit of the coupons purpose at all.
I would avoid this company and try a different carpet cleaning company. You now know that this one does not have the best interest of the customer in mind.
