Joe The Mover

We have used this company many times for family members and friends. In the past we found them to have good rates and good crews. My daughter did the arranging herself (not experienced) and the advice she got in booking the move was ridiculous and an upsell. They.They really let her down. She had a small amount of things and she was advised to get 3 men at $150/hour. Really????!!!!!!! The move took a long time (not the mover's fault), but it was the kind of move that should have been done with 2 men and started in the afternoon. Joe the mover should be ashamed of themselves charging that kind of money. Disappointed. Unprofessional. The lesson here is even if you have a good mover. You have to inform yourself. The whole industry has a bad reputation for a good reason. This is a good company. I may still recommend them, but proceed with caution. Rates can be increased from one call to the next. Be sure of your start time so you are not wasting time. Rates can double depending on the time of year and time of month.

Over the past six years, various members of my family have employed Joe the Mover five times, most recently last week for an inter city move and again yesterday for a local move. The movers were efficient, prompt, highly professional, and extremely pleasant. The price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Joe the Mover.

Joe the Mover came very highly recommended to me and I will recommend them to others. They came in good time; were fast, efficient, friendly and reasonably priced. They moved me out of town without any hassle. The team was very careful with all my objects including a piano.

I had Joe The Mover move a few items uptown - the lady on the phone was very professional and quote was bang on. The two movers showed up on time and were very friendly. We were all done in a couple hours - for a very reasonable price.

This is the best moving company in ontario. The price was write. The workers where on time, they worked super hard not to damage anything and too finish fast. And they did. These guys worked hard. I'm very happy about everything. We'll worth the money

There were 3 gentlemen who came right on time as they promised. And they were very qiuck but carful at the same time. They exactly knew what they were doing. We've had unpleasant experience with other moving companies, but these guys were AWESOME. And with a reasonable price.

It took them 6 hours to move a 1 bdrm condo to another 1 bdrm condo, literally one block away, and both with full reserved elevator service. The 2 guys they sent were slow, and didn't seem interested in moving any faster -- given I was paying by the hour. One guy seemed new and complained about my small boxes like it was my fault they were slow. And at the end of the move the other guy told me the total and said "Don't forget, that doesn't include tip." Very unimpressed with the service, professionalism, and I also had to buy a new Swiffer. There were some dents to my furniture. Will not recommend this company.

unprofessional service and unauthorized charges on the credit card. More of a nightmare than a professional moving company, someone should report them. You can cancel fraudulent charges if you catch it on your statement, but save yourself the headache and work with known professionals. I wouldn't trust or recommend them

Moving crew were on time. Took very good care of our furniture and stuff. Nothing was scratched or damaged int he process. All of the furniture was wrapped. They also made sure that the place we were moving into was as clean as possible after the move. We were really satisfied with the service and would recommend them.

Very accommodating, prompt and professional. Attila & Mike were particularly knowledgeable and experienced. They were extremely helpful & good natured throughout the process despite the heat & difficulties that arose with narrow doorways and heavy pieces.
They were very friendly & seemed to care about doing a good job so we would be happy in our new home. The price was very reasonable and the move was completed in a timely fashion.
I would highly recommend them.
