Cavallini Kitchens

WARNING! Cavallini Kitchens and Bath is not a company you want to be involved with for any household renovation. We hired Cavallini approximately one year ago to complete kitchen cabinetry, living room built-ins, bedroom built-ins and bathroom vanities. Everything that Cavallini did for us was wrong. Delivery dates were continually missed. When the cabinets were delivered 2 months late, they were all the wrong size. Some corrections were attempted, but rather than being remade they were chopped off and returned wrong again. Installation of what has been delivered is poor and will have to be corrected. Many items are still missing. The owner is full of excuses as to why things are not right and it is never his fault. We have had to fire Cavallini Kitchens and are out a considerable amount of money. Sadly, we have had to hire a new cabinetry company to repair the mess left by Cavallini.
In response to Cavallini's comments: We did not default on payment but rather refused to pay Cavallini kitchens anymore money because after 1 year (April 3rd) we are still without a completed job and have many outstanding issues. If it was a money issue for us we would not have been able to hire a new company to fix the mess left by Cavallini. Decide for yourself...but be very cautious and don't be fooled by the charming owner.

If you don't mind wrong specs-, wrong measurements (yes they came out to measure only to be 3/4" out) wrong colour, profile and excuses beyond excuses this is your place. They don't build their own cabinets and won't even take responsibility for the delays. I was told " we're not taking blame for this one" it's our suppliers.. Sorry who did I contract for the job ? This was a small job with the intention of more work but not in a million years. Glad I'm done with them. Job is not complete and I am going with another contractor or make do. Alan G below is an exact summary of what to expect. Stood up on four occasions without as much as a phone call, made up stories for months only to then ask for measurements months later. When people did magically appear they were very cordial but WOW ! I can't even begin to tell you how people can be so nice and waste your time at the same time. Horrific Customer Service- Worst ever !! Stay clear ! Won't be surprised if they end up on Holmes on Homes..

I just wanted to update this review, hopefully for the last time, this on 12/13/13. Our latest problem from this "company" is the kitchen ceiling that they installed during the renovations. The drywall ceiling is cracking along the joints as a result of either poor workmanship. Now once again I am forced, at my own expense, to have to "fix" Cavallini's poor quality of work.
Please read on and don't use this guy for anything!!

Very smooth talking salesman/owner, he's your "best friend" to sign you up. Quick to get the demos done and the first major installment of $. 2nd installment when cabinets were delivered. Then things slowed down dramatically, one worker every once in a while, then weeks would go by with no one showing up. Wrong materials, or no materials, and sloppy finishes. We had made a few changes but nowhere like the contractor kept saying but it was delay after delay, excuse after excuse and finally false promise after false promise. Then we fired him from the project and trying to finish up the job ourselves! Honestly I have done more in the last few days than they had done in the last few months!!
Never would I use this place and never would I recommend them to anyone. They get your cash to pay for the previous job, staying barely afloat. Stay well clear of this company!!
Please don't be mislead by the glowing above average 9's & 10's they get. Those reviews were probably written by the owner and friends!!!
