Removed a 8' peg (2' diameter) from an old pine that was partially cut down and ground out the stump. Nikki was super friendly and very quick to respond, even early on a Saturday when there had been a misunderstanding with the crew. Managed to get a Quote same day and removed 2 days later. Would recommend and use again in a heartbeat! Thanks

Glenwood Tree Service came the same day as we called and gave us an estimate for a quite challenging tree removal. The estimate was lower than three other companies we called. After we chose them they came within a week and did a superb job. The wood was removed, the remains cleared away and there was no damage to anything in the vicinity of the tree. They were careful to explain the job in detail before hand and were open to questions. The crew and staff were friendly and helpful during all contacts. The bill was exactly the same as the estimate.
I would recommend them highly.

Cut tree limbs, over property line approx. 3 inches dia. Trimmed cedar hedges, 5 to 6 ft from top.

Large limb requested for cutting, could not be cut. They advised it could possibly hurt tree.

They were professional and prompt in removing a fairly large blue spruce from the front, removing another spruce beside a window that was too close to the house and they trimmed and dead wooded a tree in the back yard.

Very large tree needed removal of dead wood and shaping... The men did a fantastic job, were professional and paid attention to safety. I'm really happy with the result

The office was easy to work with: they contacted us first when we posted a request on HomeStars. They called to book an estimate/visit; the work was clearly outlined on the estimate.
The day they arrived promptly, got the work done very quickly. From what I observed, they worked safely and carefully. They also accommodated special requests (putting aside some ash branches for the Toronto Wildlife Centre) and carefully protected my very young oak tree that I'd neglected to mention (Thank you!!) from the falling branches. I keep a 'natural garden' so I appreciated that they cleaned up my yard to just a bit neater than it was before they got there (perfect for me).
The stumping process was done later, and we couldn't be happier: the stumps are gone, and there's even a bit of mulch left for the garden.
Excellent service; would call again/recommend to others (already have, actually).

Crew came promptly in the morning to prune some very large trees around our house. Very friendly and pleasant. Cleaned up everything, would never know they were there. Did a great job on the trees.

Precision is how I would define the Service and attention to details that Gleenwood Tree Service had provided me. They had delivered what they promised by sticking to a schedule, a budget and a care of detail to the surrounding properties.
They appeared and disappeared without a trace that they had even been on the property to do the work.
I would "STRONGLY" recommend using their gift of knowledge and experience for any project size.
