Acclaimed! Heating, Cooling & Furnace Cleaning

One of the best service we had for our house. Dan Kacew the sales person was amazing very professional and knows the product well. Trades people was great as well and professional.

We did our “homework” we researched the type of furnace and air conditioner we wanted and then we researched who we wanted to install it. We did get a total of 5 quotes and believe me it was a huge learning curve for us but a very worthwhile endeavor. Acclaimed was our first choice for two reasons, first they sold the product (Trane) we decided that was the best choice in furnaces and air conditioning, second, Acclaimed, had an outstanding record for installation and service.
We contacted Acclaimed and Dan came to our house to do an inspection and provide us with a detailed estimate. He was very professional and knowledgeable, not to mention a very nice person. After a few phone calls we came to an agreement and we purchased a full package of a brand new Trane variable speed furnace, new 3.5 ton air conditioner and a new humidifier.
The first morning Chris showed up right on time and started on the dismantling and getting things prepared. I at once felt comfortable and realized that I was in good hands. Adam showed up about an hour later with the work truck loaded up with all our new home improvements. Let me tell you Adam is a professional. I went through a few quirky at least I thought they were quirky things about what I wanted and he assured me that all my concerns were “no problem”. That’s what I call service!! Adam and Chris were there all day and when I got home from work they were just cleaning up for the day.
The second day Charles the air conditioner expert joined Adam and Chris. The three of them spent the entire day finishing off an outstanding installation job and at the end of the day gave us a run down on the operation of all our new equipment. I expressed that I was into overload on all the information and they told me that that was normal and that they were actually going to return to explain and show us the operation of the equipment and if we ever needed help, call at any hour!! They were going to show up this week but phoned to apologize that the person who was scheduled had family evacuating form the Fort Mac Murray fire and had to reschedule. I hope everyone is safe.
Acclaimed has measured up to all the reviews that I have read and I would most confidently recommend them for you HVAC requirements.

Had Acclaimed install a new Trane Central A/C unit in my Townhouse.
Price was very competitive and the fact that they provide warranty on the labour as well as the parts is what sold me. The salesman Dan Kacew answered all my questions promptly.
The installation team showed up on time and did a great job, very clean install and finished ahead of schedule.

Having bought my first home under a year ago we were sure that we wanted to upgrade our system to include A/C for both an investment in our comfort and our property. We originally come from Ontario and once you have A/C you really can't go back. I searched for reputable places in Edmonton and read many reviews before reaching out to Acclaimed. I spoke with and met with Dan a couple times prior to having our A/C installed. He was patient and explained each step of the install answering our dozens of questions as we went through the process.
Our technician who installed the A/C was professional and full of knowledge. He assisted with the configuring of our upgraded wifi compatible thermostat and answered any questions I had during and after the installation.
I would recommend Acclaimed to anyone I know looking to purchase a new A/C unit!

Although it emerged well into my life, I love this ability we now have as consumers to share our experiences with other prospective buyers. I’ve used it a few times to sound warnings when I think I’ve been shabbily treated or when a product has fallen short of expectations, but I much prefer to use it to bestow praise. Acclaimed Heating fits very squarely in the category warranting praise. From the moment that Dan Kacew arrived to provide a quote, I knew I was dealing with a quality organization and quality people.

Knowing that my job would involve significant expense, I researched everything until my head started to spin. But at the end I knew enough about heating and air conditioning - equipment manufacturers, suppliers and installers – to make an informed decision. I knew that Trane was a top-rated brand for reliability, as assessed by Consumer Reports. I also knew that Acclaimed was very highly regarded for the quality of their work; this was crucial because I encountered one comment again and again in my research - no matter how good the equipment, the key component is the quality of the installation.

So, with those key bases covered it would come down to price. Dan did everything he could to make our new system affordable, and answered all my questions promptly and efficiently. After Dan had done his part, I was given an installation date just five days hence. That’s when Charles, Chris and Adam arrived – bang on time – to start work. They were very friendly and highly efficient, and quick to explain what they were doing and answer questions. They discussed location options with me, and were very respectful of me and my house. It was no mean feat to install everything when the process involved finding the right location for everything and running lines through our ceilings and outside walls, but they did it inside the estimated time. And then they tidied up.

I secured five quotes and only one other company came remotely close to Acclaimed, with the others trailed off in the distance. In the end it was, as they say, a “no brainer” to choose Acclaimed, and we’re delighted with the results.
