I have used Alberta Rug & Upholstery Cleaners for as long as I can remember. Reid has never failed to leave me totally satisfied with his great service. He knows carpet fibres and fabrics inside out, and how to properly take care of them. He is thorough and very respectful of my home and furnishings. Reid explains what he is doing and why, and gives me great tips for maintaining my carpet. When there are specific stains that needs to be addressed, he takes the time to discuss what the stain is so he can properly remove them - every time. He always calls when he is on his way to confirm his arrival time. I completely trust him as he is the one that is in my home. Clearly, he takes great pride in his work. Reasonably priced too!!

We hired Reid based on the reviews on homestars and were thrilled with the results. We had used another company previously and were very disappointed (it almost looked the same after!). Although our house is a challenge (cream-coloured carpets...1 dog...2 kids) Reid managed to remove stains the other company hadn't and the carpet looks great. Would recommend him to anyone and plan on using him again in the future.

I called this company based upon previous Homestar reviews, and was very happy with the service. Reid was honest, reliable and did an amazing job with my carpets. He takes well deserved pride in his work. I liked it when he said 'machines don't get your carpets clean , the person cleaning it does.', My home is going up for sale soon, and I thought the carpets would be a problem, and now they're an asset!!

Being somewhat of a perfectionist myself, a trait I value in ANY professionals' line of work is pride of workmanship. This is definitely the case for Reid and his company: the work was excellent and Reid is highly ethical--such a change of pace from the larger companies who, by and large, are merely anxious to get on to the next job. Reid McCord is the owner operator of Alberta Rug and he took over from his Dad. Thats why he is the best - pride of workmanship. Reid does all my wall to wall and area rugs twice a year (one heavy traffic and one all over) and he is hands down the best. He has got stains out by by teenagers I was sure would never be removed. He even advised us on the best carpet to purchase in terms of keeping it cleaner and looking good (not wool and get stainmaster!).
I have referred Reid to all my friends and they love him to. Reid told me about online reviews to find contractors for other things I needed done and its been great.

There are many companies to hire but this one I would call back because they are very knowledgeable, on time, and offer a great product and service!!! Their prices are reasonable and comparable. They do not pressure sell any additional services. They tell you what they offer then you decided!!!
