The building quality is not amazing, after only 5 years of use there are already numerous problems. For example, the tile floors are cracking, the engineered hard wood floors were easily scratched, the walls are thin and the cabinets are the thickness of paper. I would not recommend this builder, although if you are on a budget and cannot afford a tridel built home, it's still probably not your worst option.

They provided excellent service, great building material, perfect closing date. The condo looks great, has modern facilities, great gym, great location. Modern appliances, the quality of finish workmanship is also good.

In 2005 I purchased a unit at the new One Sherway Condominiums that Menkes was building. I was soo excited to move in as the features and finishes were to be phenomenal.

In the spring of 2008 I finally moved in. I, along with many other residents, was quite disappointed as to the quality of the finishes that were promised and what was actually done. It seemed as though they used only the cheapest materials. Any problems were dealt with immediately but were also done by just "covering up" the problem area. The facilities are also not that great.

I guess the lesson learned is that buying a newly built place, you really don't know what you're paying for until it's too late.
