We were very impressed with the service we got at Vacuum Specialists. They talked through the pros and cons of canister vs. central vacuum units, and determined which central vacuum was best for our needs.

The installation was of a high quality by a friendly installer, and booked in relatively quickly after we purchased the unit.

I would definitely recommended them to others.

This is my second review for this company but I was so pleased with the service the second time around, I'd like to offer another satisfied customer comment for this local shop. I purchase and had installed a Beam vacuum in my home and the second vacuum I needed was for our company shop. The salesman remembered me and was very helpful with advice on the right unit for what I needed. He gave me a discount for coming back as well as a box of bags and a floor attachment for no charge. They guys in the shop are friendly and carried my unit out to my car for me in the rain. Keep up the honest, good service!

We went to the southside location looking for a central vac. Ali was extremely helpful and didn't try to upsell us at all. We ended up with a great central vac system for our new place, with all the necessary attachments for much less than we expected the pay.

We purchased a new Beam Special Edition central vac from the 37 Street store in July/13 to replace an existing older unit in our home. Our contacts at the store (Youssef and Abdu) and the technician who installed the unit (Mohammed), were all thoroughly competent and professional individuals who provided us with quality advice and service throughout our contacts with them. However, the truly excellent part of their service came later in Jan/14 and again in June/14. We were having a recurring problem that resulted in performance failure (no power vacuum) at three of the older, existing outlets in our older home. After initially changing all the outlets without solution, Mohammed spent the time on his third visit to trace wires from each of the outlets until he discovered a loose wire that periodically caused the failure.
We purchased the Beam from Vacuum Specialists for a very competitive price, had it installed for a small fee, and paid not a nickel more for the subsequent service calls. Not to devalue the initial purchase and install costs, the followup performance of the company is the most important one to me. Too often these days, companies are very willing to sell products, but very hesitant to followup with maintenance or problem solving. In our case, the problem was solved quickly and correctly without any charge and without hesitation on the part of any member of the staff. Our congratulations and thanks to Youssef, Abdu and Mohammed for their quality service. I quite happily give them the highest performance rating.

Replaced our vacuum components and the intake and collection box. I was very happy with the service and it was very timely and the man seemed to know what he was doing and was finished working fast.

We recently moved into a new house with a new central vacuum installed but the previous owners didn't leave the power hose or power head for the vacuum. Luckily, Vacuum Specialists is just up the street from me so I popped in and was given some amazing customer service. I have never owned central vac before so I didn't really know anything about it and the guys there were all very helpful.
Two weeks later the vacuum itself dies!! I called Vacuum Specialists to come make a house call and the unit was dead. Moe went through what was wrong, what needed to be fixed, and helped me choose the right replacement vacuum. Less than a week later it is installed and running like a dream. Super quiet, very powerful suction and not too hard on the pocketbook, either.

Just happened to enter this shop with a friend who needed to buy a new Vacuum for her house..I was shocked to see the different varieties of products sold here...This is the shop to visit if you need a real clean house..They carried so many name brad products like Dirt Devil and Bosch...Their prices were on the higher range but there was a lot of items to choose from...My friend ended up buying a water Vacuum and i picked up a bucket of Oreck Dry Carpet Cleaner..The product works great on my carpet..Thanks Vacuum Specialist for good customer service...I would definitely visit them again

After waiting about two years to but a new vacuum, I wanted the top of the line nicest central vac I could get. The south location of The Vacuum Specialists provided me with many options and educated me on the difference. The in store service was great and he recommended an installer to complete the rough in that was done in our older home. The installer was punctual and worked with me to install the system and pipes the way we wanted. He was clean and friendly and did a great job. The system has been running great and is so quiet. I love the new modern look of the canister in my garage, much smaller and nicer than my old Vacuflo which I would never purchase again after having a Beam. Overall great service, no pushy sales and they gave me a free hose cover. I visited other vacuum stores in my search and the good reviews on this company as well as my in store experience led me to purchase with them. Highly recommended.

We installed a new Hoover built in vacuum system purchased from Vacuum Specialists in Airdrie. They were very knowledgeable and answered the many questions we had. I would recommend them to anyone.

Was very impressed with Moe at Vacuum Specialists. Our central vacuum had very low suction so I had called another company to come in to look at it (Superior Vacuum) and they could not figure out what was wrong. Moe came in and within minutes had identified the problem and had it fixed within 30 min. The previous homeowner had installed the system incorrectly many years ago and Moe was able to correct the problem without a hitch. Since my system was so old, I decided to replace the vacuum and Moe was able to install the new one on the spot. He was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I wish I had called Vacuum Specialists from the beginning and will be using them for any future central vac problems. It was nice to deal with someone that truly is an expert in his field.
