The crew who did the work on our roof was great. The day before, they delivered all the materials and they arrived around 7:30 the next morning to begin the job. By 4:30 they were pretty much done, but the foreman, Stan, stayed behind making sure that everything had been done to his and also our satisfaction. He made sure that the clean-up was complete, nails & debris were picked up, the flashings were properly nailed down and flat against the roof, he cleaned our front step since coffee had been accidentally spilled on it during the day. By the time he left, it was dark. The morning after they came to haul all the debris away. All in all, a job well done and I would sure recommend RoofMaster to anyone needing work done on their roof. The roof looks great!

the entire crew, Joshua, Paul, Tara,Dillon and Alvin were on time, very professional and friendly. They were very good in protecting the area with heavy drop sheets and they cleaned up very well afterwords, except for the back deck which had a lot of fine grit on it..There was also a window well cover in the back garden but I am not sure if it was carried there by the wind or the workers. When I went to clear the debris off the back deck, there was more than I thought. There was a lot of fine debris, some shingle material and several roof nails. There was a drop sheet placed on part of the deck but when it was removed they seemed to have dumped what was on it on the deck. If someone asked me if I would recommend this company, I would tell them I was very happy with the finished product but to make sure they inspect the entire site before giving any recommendation

I chose RoofMaster to do my roof based on excellent reputation. Andre Charbonneau was the foreman and I am very pleased with the quality of the work, and excellent client service. They did a professional job! I would recommend RoofMaster!

I was very happy with the service from Roofmaster from my first meeting with the estimator Guy Lemire, and the quality of work provided by Mark and his team. RoofMaster wasn't the cheapest company (but also not the most expensive) when I received a number of quotes, but I am very glad with the decision to go with them. Their quality of workmanship, cleaning up, timeliness (and beat the winter weather) was great. Guy and Mark took time to explain to me the different options.

Biggest thing that struck me was their honesty and willingness to accommodate. The roof needed new plywood before the shingles could be properly installed (I later found out after the removal of shingles), and Mark explained to me my options. I decided to go with what was 'right' and not ignore the problem, and was glad they brought it forward to me - I don't know all companies would be this honest. Although it did cost quite a more than originally anticipated, I'm glad they did the 'right' job and we should be protected from the elements for decades to come. Part of me suspects not all companies would have done this, or would have done a patch/temp job. One comment is it would have been appreciated is if the estimator would have informed me the high likelihood (old house) of having to put plywood down on the house so I could plan accordingly.

Clean-up was daily (including combing through the property with a magnet), and at the end of the job, the crew did a very thorough clean-up. A neighbour had their roof redone by a large competitor (one of the 'bigger' names in town), and punctured several tires from nails that were missed among other things. Thankfully that hasn't (and hopefully doesn't) happen. The install and quality of the reshingling, soffits /fascia, and eaves looks very clean, professional, and we are pleased with it. Can't wait for the spring to see it again.

Was I happy with the quality of work? Absolutely

I am really happy with the high quality job Arzan and Joe from Roofmaster did for me. My father built homes for a living so I have been on lots of construction sites and my new chimney flashing, step flashing and wall flashing is some of the best I have ever seen. Attention to detail, not taking shortcuts, and replacing what needs to be replaced, it was an all-around real quality install. And they did all of this between rain and snow, very impressive.

Had a number of quotes from reputable roofers reviewed on HomeStars. Ended up going with Roofmasters because of our positive experience dealing with Guy Lemire. Took awhile to book the installation of new shingles. Installation took place early November 2013. Went with the 25-year asphalt shingles. Roofing crew was young, but pleasant to deal with. Respectful and informative. Overall quality of the installation was good, but not excellent. Some work wasn't fully completed (missed a section of drip edge, corner shingles not installed properly) necessitating a return visit by Byron who was the foreman for our job. There were some other organizational issues that didn't really impact on us, but lengthened the stay of the work crew (skid for shingle and roofing waste was a day late, air compressor for the nail guns ran out of gasoline, etc.). Cleanup along the side of our house where we have interlock was fairly good, but there were numerous nails and building scraps in our front garden plot and backyard, and a handful of nails on the roof on both sides (semi-detached bungalow). The shingles on the hips of the roof are not as straight as they could be. Some of the shingles aren't laying as flat as they could be. Have to wait until the summer to see if they flatten out in the heat. I expect the followup service (if necessary) should be fine.

Roofmaster did my shingled roof many years in the past. Since I was happy with that job, I called them again this time. The estimator went through all the options available, giving a good explanation of the benefits and drawbacks of each one. With a weather-dependent line of work starting dates have to be approximate but once on site the crew worked continuously over 3 days to get the job done. The crew was helpful, explained everything they were doing and cleaned up every night before they left. I could not be more pleased.

A thank you note for Ernesto, Tyler and crews. Due to conflicting priorities and rotten weather the job didn't get done as quickly as anyone hoped but despite that the job was done to my satisfaction. The crews were professional, courteous, and very pleasant to have around the property. I'm a return client and will come back again.

I got a good proposal from Roofmaster including good ideas fro the vents. The price was competitive with other quotes.
Installation was done without problem over 3 days because of a rainy day. The roof looks very nice except that some of the wall flashing could have been more esthetic. No garbage was left behind. Time would tell how long the new roofing last.

I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have their roof shingled. Andre Charboneau was very knowledgable and professional. He did a thorough job along with the help of his assistant. I appreciated Andre providing me with accurate information and the quality of his work was outstanding. The crew cleaned up following the completion of the job and I was pleased that care was taken to do the job correctly. Thank you
