I called Steve for what was thought to be a breaker issue for a dishwasher. Turned out to be a short at the outlet in behind the dishwasher. Steve helped greatly.

I submitted the web form outlining the issue (suspected wire damage in our attic). I received no callback, so I called in inquire, in the event that my form was faulty.

As soon as the gentleman on the phone heard the issue, he said he wouldn't help because he didn't want to climb into an attic in summer temperatures (agreed and I empathized. I have some flexibility and understanding for this issue), nor did he want a fire damage charge against his liability insurance. The laughing tone with which he stated the last reason for refusing service was disheartening and unexpected. There was no opportunity for a longer discussion, no patience, no courtesy. I wish I had had the opportunity to experience their supposed excellent service; now I will have to assume the worst. Disappointing.

Excellent, FAST service. My outside plugs and basement lights weren’t working. They came quickly and had a look and saw the problem immediately. It was fixed in no time with an extremely reasonable cost to me!!

I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Steven of Richard Salter Electric Ltd. There were 2 issues of immediate concern, consisting of repairing a faulty circuit that cut off electricity to half of our upper floor, and replacing overhead neon lights in a basement office. He did these tasks at our first meeting. Impressed with his work, we engaged his firm to take on a major job of modifying each outlet of our two story home affected by aluminum wiring. All workers had to meet local health regulations imposed by the current pandemic. His crew arrived in 3 weeks, moved what had to be moved, and were finished in 8 hours.

Right from the get-go Steve was a pleasure to work with. From the quote to setup, he was professional and friendly. They did a great job getting the pot lights installed and cleaned up everything before they left. I'm thrilled at how quickly the turnaround was as well!

There's no doubt I would hire these guys again for any other electrical issues or needs that pop up.
