Toronto Fence & Mr. Mole

My wife and I are most pleased with Toronto Fence, our new fence looks fantastic. This has really been a quality addition to our home. Neighbors have already commented about how nice it looks. Many thanks to Alex and his crew for working with us in constructing a fence that met our needs at an affordable price. Once we get the landscaping completed for the swimming pool area, we'll e-mail you a photo, as I know the fence will greatly enhance our back yard and swimming pool area. We appreciate your interest, courtesy and timeliness on this project. We could not have ask for better. I have already recommended you to several of my friends and colleagues.

We had an unexpected and last minute dispute with our neighbour around building the fence. Alex was very understanding of the circumstances and came up with an affordable solution for us. Alex and his team built us a great fence that looks very nice and is sturdy. Would definitely recommend him!

Alex and his father Mario's workmanship is wonderful. It's like day and night in my back garden as the new fence has completely transformed its appearance.
The job required removing a dilapidated chainlink fence, removing an old grapevine and working around numerous large shrubs. We also ran into an unpleasant "surprise" upon removal of the old fence which would take too long to explain in this review, but they came up with a clever solution to resolve it. Part of the new fence is being shared with a neighbour which proved challenging because despite all the discussions and the agreement reached prior to the work starting, the neighbour in question suddenly became a bit difficult and disagreeable, but Alex and Mario were very patient (I'm sure this isn't the first time they've encountered this type of thing!) while we sorted things out. I should add that my neighbours and I all have dogs so Alex erected a temporary fence at no extra cost.
Based on the work completed, I've now asked them for a quote for a new garden gate and new garden shed. I would highly recommend them.

We are very happy with our fence. We have gotten several compliments on it. Many people have asked us who put our fence up. We have no problem giving them your company name. My in-laws needed a new fence and we recommended Toronto Fence to them. The crew that came out was wonderful. They laid out the area and checked with me several times to make sure the layout was correct. They were very hardworking and very respectful. I was very pleased that Alex came and checked on the progress and the finished product. I am very pleased with the result. We would definitely recommend you and your company to anyone that asks. Alex and his Dad built a great fence. I can definitely recommend their craftsmanship. Alex explained everything in detail - including any changes in the plan as they went, and got my approval before they proceeded. They were courteous and very professional. BUT...there's always a but, eh? Alex needs someone running the business end of things. He was not great at letting me know what was going on. There were three delays in the start of the job, which didn't bug me. But him not calling or emailing to confirm that yes, this time, they would be showing up and to please be there...THAT bugged me. I had to track him down to find out what the plan was. Also at the end of the job he said he would email me the final receipt and breakdown of the exact bill for my neighbour to pay. Lovely. Except it never came and never came and despite a polite email request and a polite email promise in return, it never came. Almost two weeks later I finally left an aggravated phone message and bingo! it showed up that same afternoon.

Alex was great to deal with. It took a bit longer to get the fence in because of the weather, but Alex was very good at communicating what was happening. The fence looks great, he even fixed the garden around the fence. I would highly recommend him.
