I was looking for a locksmith to come instal an upper, front door lock. Tom was pleasant over the phone and said he'd be able to come same day, within an hour and a half. He was right on time. He brought in a lock that he thought would be best for me based on what I had described over the phone. It was perfect. I then asked for his advice about securing a basement door. He made some suggestions and decided to install a lock there too. Thanks for helping secure my house, Tom!

I was referred to Tom, the owner of Victory Locks by a friend of mine who had a great experience with his services.

When I spoke to Tom on the phone he gave me a quote that was very fair. We made our appointment 2 days later. Tom was on time, cheerful, pleasant and very well organized. He had all of his tools ready at the front door when I arrived.

Tom did a master key for the entire home with 2 different switch keys on 5 of the 8 deadbolts. (it’s a duplex) He gave me extra keys, as well as key tags, and a few other dead bolt parts that saved me from having to purchase an extra lock.

He added extra value to the transaction making me feel at ease the entire time. He was very pleasant and informative. In fact he explained the entire process as he was working on my home.

Overall I’m very happy with Tom’s service, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Sunday morning - discovered the door lock was broken and door won't stay closed and it's so cold! I called Tom and he was here earlier than promised to install a new lock. he was pleasant and got the job done. Even tidied up. Expensive and worth it.

I called Tom as I was having a small emergency and Tom was quick to respond and very flexible with his timing. Tom arrived early (a rarity in the contracting world!) and was very eager to help me out. I would absolutely recommend Tom and Victory Locks to anyone looking to get world-class customer service at an exceptionally reasonable price.

I called Tom tonight during an extreme weather warning. Even though we was at a job on the other side of the city (and a few blocks from his home), he drove to me as soon as he finished his job. Our deadbolt lock had disassembled (we made it worse by trying to force the lock to open when our tenant could not enter her basement apt bc the lock would not open - bc we thought it was frozen and we were facing breaking the door frame to get it out -don't do it! Call Tom!) and he had to get out the broken off deadbolt piece stuck inside our door frame. It took him a fair bit of time and he admitted it almost got the best of him - but he didn't give up! In under an hour he had the piece out, had installed a high quality Schlage lock and even fixed the other lock below it as it was moving. He is not only the best locksmith I have ever met, he is Santa Claus to us! His service was reasonable - esp considering it was late at night on a freezing night and he came asap. He even showed my husband what to do if the lock moved a bit (as they tend to do in cold weather). I could not leave him leave without a hug to thank him.

Tom arrived early and displayed all the qualities mentioned in other Homestars reviews. He was friendly, competent and professional. Lock stripped, could not lock the door. Sent email, Tom responded in minutes, helped us figure out how to lock up for the night and arranged to come next day at our convenience. Was on time, did exactly what we needed, price was reasonable, provided advice on future needs. Absolutely recommend, and would use his services again.

After some examination, it turned out the hardware for a garage door needed to change. Although the scope of work was a bit more than expected, Tom was prepared. He worked quickly, was thorough, and answered all of my many questions. Great work and a pleasant experience.
