Underhill's Landscaping

They provided a reasonable quote for the job requested. Once we gave the go signal, they came with all their equipment, lots of manpower, and seamless job well done. We were told it could be a six-hour job (which was fine) but they finished in less than five. They cleaned up, and even did me a favour of planting a couple of extra bushes I had on the side, which wasn't part of the deal. I am moving to a new house soon and would definitely hire them again for my landscaping job.

We chose Underhill's Landscaping to install a new driveway with a soldier course of pavers down either side because of the excellent job they had done across the street. As well, we had an adjacent large evergreen tree that spewed its bark, needles and pinecones on to the driveway. Being landscapers, Dave Underhill came up with an excellent solution - build a stone rockery around the entire tree, and add a few hostas for effect. The results were better than expected. The driveway is fashionable, appealing and functional and the rockery has added an eye pleasing accent to an otherwise unsightly mess. Underhill can combine landscaping to all masonry paving type installations as that is their expertise. Overall, we were very pleased.

Delighted with our front yard renovation last year, we called in Underhill's to do the back this summer. This was a big job - literally tons of earth and scrub moved and removed, skilled tree trimming, big rocks, hundreds of plants and sod installed. They had to come in the spring to prep the yard for our new addition, then return later to finish the job.

Underhill's showed up right on time, worked all day every day and finished ahead of schedule. There was a little damage, but they paid for all repairs without any disagreement.

As before, we didn't ask anyone else to bid on the job so don't know if their price was high or low. We knew they could do the job to our complete satisfaction so we just went with them.

Also, we had no idea what we wanted the yard to look like - just that it be low-maintenance. Dave Underhill's design was exeptional (just like our front yard). Many people have praised it. We highly recommend listening to Dave's opinions - he has a great sense of what will look best and how easy it is to maintain.
