Tender Touch Moving & Storage

Movers were very friendly and helpful with moving my mom's estate contents, and one of them did a great job of packing a storage unit -- the stuff filled it up to the ceiling, walls and door!

This is the second time that Tender Touch Moving and Storage have helped to move me to a new home. They were a fantastic company to deal with and really took extra care of my things. Nothing was damaged and everything was moved in record time! All pieces were wrapped and cared for at every step of the move. My movers, Marcus, Scott and Kristian were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for me to make the move effortless. I would definitely recommend these movers and company to anyone who wants to ensure that their belongings are packaged and arrive safe and sound. They really made a very a long day, easy and painfree. Thank you!!

Marco, Dimello, Brian, and Scott made our move a positive experience. They were warm and friendly, efficient, and extremely hard working. We had unexpected delays on the highway and closing our new home and they worked well past their anticipated day without complaint. I couldn't recommend this company enough. Professional, pleasurable, and worth every penny.

Tender Touch was excellent in providing a service for us. The customer service rep. was very professional and knowledgable. The only problem we had was 1 mover left suddenly without notice to us but the remaining movers worked incredibly hard, efficient, came prepared and company pro-rated the expense of losing one person.

Moving from Parry Sound Ontario to Squamish B.C. and used Tender Touch as the agent who was prompt, courteous, and their estimate came in very close to actual cost of move. They used Great Canadian Van Lines to take our furniture to B.C. The movers called ahead and picked up our furniture right on time. They were thorough, professional and very nice men. Put down drop clothes on the stairs and gave me a full inventory list that matched mine. Told me how the move would proceed and the furniture arrived in Squamish on the date as promised. My daughter received the furniture that went into storage unit. We are still in Ontario and had to rely on my daughter and everything went smoothly. No worries - would use them again. We were very satisfied with the service that Tender Touch provided. As the move was actually sometime last year (this review is delayed), we can't remember who helped us move. However, they were professional and prepared. One thing I will note is that our dining table is a slab table with natural edges - we did have to go back and forth quite a bit about whether this would be covered by insurance as the guys were hesitant to move it (without excluding it from the insurance), concerned the natural cracks in the wood would cause it to split apart in transit...in the end it all worked out but there was a bit of discussion which was an inconvenience. All pieces arrived as they should, with the exception of parts of our Ikea wardrobe the guys left behind in the truck. We notified Tender Touch a day or two later and ask them to cover the cost of replacement; luckily they found the items in their truck and dropped them off to us quickly after. So overall, a few kinks but in the end everybody was happy. I would recommend them, and I would still call them again next time if we had to move.

Pedro, Peter and Scott moved us from house to condo. They were highly efficient, wrapped all our fragile items and furniture to both protect and keep them clean. They finished the job in record time which kept the cost affordable.

The experience was a pleasure and we would highly recommend Tender Touch Movers to anyone relocating.

This was the 4th time that I've used Tender Touch moving, and was thrilled when I found out that not only do they do local Toronto moves, but also could handle my move to Ottawa. They arrived on time, took care in wrapping up all of my furniture with extra pads so that nothing would get scratched or broken, and really treated my stuff as if it was theirs. Also, for long distance moves, they inventory every single item they move, so you know that if they've left with 105 items, they'll be showing up with those 105 items, as you sign-off on each item as it comes through the door. They also dissassembled and reassembled my larger furniture which allowed me to sleep in my own bed within hours of moving in, and lent me picture boxes and wardrobe boxes so I wouldn't have to buy them myself (I mean, who wants to buy giant boxes like that when you'll only use them once!?) Overall, super pleased with Tender Touch. Have referred them to a number of friends, and will continue to do so. Price-wise, they are also quite competitive. I had gotten another quote from another leading long-distance mover, and I was quoted about twice as much as what Tender Touch quoted (and ultimately charged) me. Overall, I think my quote was only off by 1 hour, which was fair given I know I underestimated on how many boxes I had to move, and also didn't realize that one of my couches would need to be carried up 4 flights of stairs because it didn't fit in my new condo's elevator!

Moving is certainly a stressful day but the crew who arrived at my home were fantastic. Justin came first to provide an accurate quote and they even sent a second truck "just in case" as it appeared I may fill up the 28ft originally planned. 401 Traffic is ..well.. 401 traffic, accident first thing in the morning delayed the move by a couple of hours but Tender Touch dispatch was contact with me so I knew what was going on and when they would arrive. Everything made it to Brampton in 1 piece and was rapidly unloaded into the new house in each room we asked them to be. These guys were fantastic and thorough in the job provided, hey they even had to move all my bags of cement, piles of lumber & tools which is no easy task. There were a couple of things marked during the move and few of my plants didn't quite make it, but overall great experience. Thanks for the move Tender Touch, appreciate the service!

Can't say enough good things about Tender Touch Moving & Storage. SO organized, so professional, and genuinely lovely people - a real blessing on a stressful move day! I had a couch that simply was NOT fitting up the stairs, and it would have been completely reasonable for them to say "tough luck". But they stuck with it, figured it out, and actually got it up there - super carefully at that! I'm so glad I booked them.

I would refer Tender Touch Moving & Storage to anybody.
