Sure Loc Interlocking - Out of Business

okay we are happy with the end result. Getting to the end was a bit painful and dragged out process. took over a month to complete from contract to final install.
We will start with the workman ship of Marco and his team of installers. Hands down they know there stuff! Marco was VERY helpful and added ideas and suggestions. Went over and above as he took time during non working hours to consult and help us.
We 100% wish that everyone gets Marco to do their install. Request him!!!
Sales well where to start.
*missed promise due date by 2 weeks
*sold us on stuff that just would NOT work. you'd think they would have some better product knowledge. ( Sales was saved by Marco's knowledge and advisement with us in a one to one meeting )
*Sold us on Flagstone that just would not work for our application.
I had 2 skids of interlock bricks sitting on my lawn for over 3 weeks! before they were touched. poor project planning there, no need for product to be sitting untouched for 3 weeks at a job site.
Once we found out that Flagstone would not work for us, sales decided they wanted to pick something themselves for us! Cause they thought it would look nice.
Wait pardon?!
No we will choose what is being installed. This is where Marco came in and met us at a stone yard on his own time.

Star rating we will give this a 4 as we are happy with the end result. ( thank-you Marco ) but sales needs to sharpen their pencils and have better knowledge and project planning. When signing a quote make sure detail,detail,detail is covered.
If possible ask for Marco to install.

Our opinion to Sure-Loc is have the actual installers ( or someone who has done installs ) with them while quoting. For ideas and suggestions and correct stones that will work. Not just open a piece of literature and say YES that will work I'll sell it to you.

Very happy with the workmanship. Marcos did a fantastic job, doing our front yard with an additional driveway.
He made like a piece of art with the stones. Had great suggestions.
Not too happy with sales, the specifications - or missing specifications on the contract even though agreed on. As well the communication when the supposed start is, was not going well. I recommend to specify everything into really detail.
End result looks GREAT.

Sure-Loc did a fantastic job of laying interlock in my backyard around the swimming pool. The quality of work exceeded my expectations. The only problem was that they did not meet my deadline which was very important to me.

After interviewing a few contractors we decided to go with Sureloc for our backyard patio interlocking. One of the reasons we chose them is because of the salesperson, Paul. Of the different salespeople that we met, Paul was the only one that did a proper diagram of our backyard with a clear layout of the plan. This gave us confidence that we were dealing with a good contractor. He was also flexible with our requests and the price was very fair.

As for the work, Sureloc deals with two crews. The first crew is the excavation/digging team. They were in and out in 3 hours. Fast and efficient. I believe the owner was there as well. Everyone was professional and we were generally happy.

A week later the second crew which are the installers came to finish the job. Hats off to Lou's crew for a great job. Lou was the supervisor and he was friendly, approachable and gave me a straight answer for all my questions. The work was completed in one day (these guys are super efficient) and the quality is excellent. There were a few deficiencies when I took a closer look but Lou came back on his own before I could call him to fix it. He gave me his personal cell # for any warranty issues which I thought was unique. Most contractors are hard to get a hold of after the job is done, it seems like Sureloc has figured out the secret to success....CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I'm very happy with the work they did. I'm already enjoying BBQ'ing on my new patio. Now just the stress of getting new patio furniture!

Awesome job completed for us in June 2012. Punctual workers and great results. After calling, Paul came and gave us some quotes and suggestions. After giving a deposit, excavation began a week later and after another week the workers came and did the stone work.

Definitely looking forward to doing our backyard with them in the future!
