This company painted my 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the early Spring 2011. They did a good job and we were satisfied with the results. They were also very professional and fast. I would recommend them.

We hired Jeff Hollingsworth – Student Works and his crew, to paint the exterior walls of our house and garage in the summer of 2010. We were impressed with Jeff’s professional presentation and attitude. He promised us a date to start and we were pleased when he actually started the job earlier.

Our house has high ceilings with a cathedral roof. The peak of the house is higher than a three story house. The job was completed safely, on-time and to our satisfaction.

Jeff is an extremely hard working individual with great work ethics and very pleasant personality. We would hire him again with no hesitation and would recommend his team to others.

We had an absolutely nightmarish experience with Student Works and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. It would take far too long to tell the whole story, but let me summarize with the following: 1) they did not start when they said they would (they were about 6 wks late); 2) they did NOT do proper prep work (scraping, sanding and priming) as promised in the contract (I even caught them painting directly over MOULD in one spot, without ANY sanding or priming); 3) the job took about twice as long as they said it would; 4) they painted some surfaces that were not meant to be painted; 5) communication was terrible; 6) their claim that they have conscientious , carefully-trained painters is a LOAD OF CRAP.
Their quote was by far the cheapest, and now I know why: they underbid to get jobs and then THEY CUT WHATEVER CORNERS THEY HAVE TO in order make a profit. Trust me, pay the slightly higher price and save yourself the headaches. I know I learned my lesson.

Jeffrey and his team were responsible for the preparation of the entire exterior of my cottage as well as the deck. Then two coats of paint were applied, completely transforming the exterior, giving it a fresh new look.

Jeffrey and his team preformed these tasks in a professional and timely manor. His close attention to detail has resulted in meticulous and accurate work. His strong interpersonal and communication skills have made dealing with him a wonderful experience. Jeffery worked around my schedule and budget to ensure everything fit my needs.

Jeffrey went over the top in every aspect of the job. I was extremely pleased with the work completed by Jeffrey and his team, and would highly recommend him for employment.

Hello Mr. Thomson,

I was told I could forward a letter of appreciation to you regarding a painting job done this Summer by Student Works on our condo building.

We sent a formal complaint on June 23rd, 2010, regarding a paint job that was done on the balconies of our condominiums in Montreal in August 2009.

We honestly expected not to receive a response, and perhaps to have to go to small claims court, but we were pleasantly surprised to receive a quick response from Mr. Christopher Plouffe-Boisse, who came all the way from Ottawa to inspect last year's paint job.

Following this, we were quickly contacted by Emilie King and her collegue Alana Desco. They both came to survey last year’s work and determine a plan of action to redo the work. Both Emilie and her collegue were professional, efficient and easy to deal with.

The work has now been redone. It appears to be much better than last year’s job. Although only time will tell whether the work will last this time, we wanted to thank you for responding to our letter, for honouring your guarantee and for sending us three courteous and effective employees who were a pleasure to deal with.
