Student Works Painting

Windsor Student Painters - Warranty repaint of our great room ceiling has gone from bad to worse. We felt the student painters were not at all trained or experienced when they completed the original job - with the completion of the warranty repaint we know this is the case. The repaint is even worse than before. We are done with these people and are going to pay an experienced professional painter to clean up their mess. Pictures say it all.....

I was so impressed by the professionnalisme and awesome work done by Austin Trudeau and his crew. Highly recommend them. We have dealt with many different contractors for various home improvement and home renovation project and have never been more impressed and satisfied.

The people from Student Works were going around my neighborhood a few months ago asking people for work. I hired them to repaint the gable of my house, as it had been a long time since it was done. Sarah Jane's team did a very professional job and Sarah Jane herself was very pleasant, courteous and professional. Great job.

Great interior crew that did our entire basement, cause us no problems at all as well as an exterior crew that took care of the garage doors and other doors. Jessica Schulz the operator was a pleasure to deal with, would recommend and would use again

Nick is a skilled painter. His client service is exceptional, aiming for 100% client satisfaction. He was reliable and dependable while working on the project. He is also a skilled painter. His experience is noticeable in his work. I would highly recommend Nick for a painting project.

This is the third year we have employed Student Works Painting to repaint rooms which we have been unable to get around to ourselves. Each year we find the service has been better than the previous one. This year the team of two led by Michaela Lahn was particularly impressive. They were very professional and worked hard. The overall quality of work was excellent and exceeded our expectations. They were cheerful throughout and a pleasure to have on our home.

Our problems started with poor communication in early May. (we booked in Feb.) We should have cancelled then but my husband wanted to give them a chance. We now have paint (in streaks) on the walls, (in spatters) on the floor, (in drips) on the baseboards and furniture. They also ruined our fireplace mantel where they attempted to clean up paint spatters but instead took off the finish. My husband made final payment late at night (I was in bed because I had to work the next day), after being assured that they would call the next day after he had a chance to view things in the light of day. Needless to say they did not call the next day nor have the returned our calls or texts for the last 4 days. We finally decided to accept our losses and move forward.
DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOMES!!
Thanks to Frank for getting thanks turned around. Its unfortunate that the above did happen, but one student came back on the weekend and repaired all the issues we had. If you're lucky enough to have Frank you should be OK. He has a stronger work ethic then some.

On May 16 (2018) I had painting done by Student Works Painting. It included outdoor garage side door, wood frame around garage door and one interior wall. They were to use TSP, scrape, fill, caulk, sand, wash, and spot prime as well as apply two coats of paint. They did not us TSP, caulk or wash. They did paint but missed one entire section of the interior wall. When dry the wall was streaked and spotty. I contacted Jeremy and he came by to inspect the work. He told me he would repaint the wall himself on May 21. He did not call or show up. I am very disappointed that I wasted my money on this project. I will now have to hire someone else to fix it. The girls who did the work were polite and respectful, however perhaps due to lack of training/experience the final result was unsuccessful. I wanted to support students but sincerely regret that decision. I don't expect to hear from Jeremy again, he has his money and no motivation to make this right. I even gave a substansial tip, as requested.

Sarah Jane Mete and her team did a fantastic job! We had them paint our living room, dining room, kitchen and staircase/landing walls and trim. It looks fantastic. The whole crew was very professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend.
