Great service from initial contact until finished product. Great communication along the way, very friendly and professional. The service rep truly went out of his way to provide us with up to date information, quotes, and product. The day of the job went perfect. The staff were on time and completely kind and professional. Made sure that the work was to our (the customer) standards. Very pleased!!!

I wanted to update and freshen the look of our porch, painting it out was the most cost effective solution. I came by Student Painters on Facebook and the job was done within a week and a half. The painters were friendly and contientous.

I was impressed when Patrick first came to introduce himself and his company. He was well organized, respectful, personable, and it was obvious he took pride in what he did. I am a difficult person to please so when they did such an amazing job., I was elated. It was perfect! My neighbors have all commented on the great job he did and at a good price too. I will definitely have them back for other jobs as well as to repaint the terrible jobs that other painters messed up in my bathroom, kitchen and living room. The team was considerate and professional, did the work in time and properly. Any comment, advise and request from us was treated respectfully and addressed immediately.
The job was painting a bedroom and a garage. The garage was a bigger job than it was envisioned, but it was dealt with seriousness. Damaged walls were repaired carefully with quality putty, let to be cured properly, sanded until no sign of repair was visible, painted in two coats to look brand new. Even some areas that were not in the contract, were repaired with consideration to the customer full satisfaction.
Use of the bathroom and sinks for equipment cleaning, was done with respect for the customer property, leaving all clean like before.
Money well spent for a job well done for a team of professional and educated guys (university students). I would recommend them anytime to anyone.

We were impressed with how the project was handled. Step by step procedure was explained at all times. The staff was introduced were respectful and courteous and kept us informed of the progress of the work. They used tarps where necessary to prevent spills on hard surfaces. They cleaned up at the end of every day. We would highly recommend Student Works Painting.

Our deck hadn't been stained or painted in years. What little paint that was left was flaking off pretty badly. Student Works came, sanded it down and got all the loose paint off of, color matched to what was originally there, and painted it. It looks like new again.

I'm sorry to see some of the reviews on this website but when I hired these young guys, they were very professional, came promptly, and overall did a good job! They did the necessary preparation work on the front and back stair cases, as well as the garage and front door. We had done the estimate in the winter and he let me know that after the winter the project looked worse for wear than when he initially estimated, but they still took the time to do the extra work required, and they left me some extra paint too in case I needed it. They were clean and it's nice seeing young people being active again in the community.

After obtaining 5 other quotes, all much higher I had settled on one painter who then pulled out because he found a larger more profitable job.

No such issue with Jake who showed up for the estimate as scheduled and did the job on the agreed upon date. The whole operation flowed seemlessly from colour selection to execution of the actual job.

This quote is from Student Works - “We ensure that we take time to do the work right. Our crews provide the most thorough prep work to ensure that your paint job will last for years to come. Our number one goal is your satisfaction from start to finish”. But, this did not happen. No prep work for a fence staining, work team was to be 6 for 1 1/2 days, we had two show up and one of them quit the next day we had a new student. The quote we paid for was $2600 plus We supplied $400 worth of stain, should have hired professionals!!!
