I expected the finished products to match the drawings. Only 1 small free-standing item did. The tops of the other 2 free standing items had unexpected overhangs. One of the free standing cabinets should have had a divider with 1 shelf on one side and 3 shelves on the other, but there was no divider, and it had a total of 3 shelves. The built-in closet was not initially built in at the top. Another installer came and built it in completely but with lips that I did not expect. I was very disappointed. The owner visited, offered to discuss possible alterations with the shop, but could not guarantee that it would meet my expectations. and left me in tears.

We used Space solutions to design and build a large wall unit in our new home. The unit is 18 feet by 8 feet. First, we had to find a design that met our needs and that looked stylish and contemporary. Jorgen came to our house three times and patiently listened to what we had in mind, took measurements, drew the unit, gave many suggestions and finally helped us find the best design. He was very patient even after all the changes that we did. We had to decide on every single detail from the fluted columns, to the glass doors and glass shelves, to the baseboard and the door handles… It was a long procedure but the outcome was worth it. Barb supervised the building part and made sure no glitches were left behind. The professionalism and expertise of Jorgen, Barbara, and the team who installed the unit make Space solutions highly recommended by us. We interviewed a few companies, and the price given to us by Space solutions was the best. We now love the look of our family room and the unit added value to our home. It is a real piece of art.

After shopping around, I decided to go with Space Solutions to spruce up our closets (master walk-in, guest room, nursery, and foyer closet). Their pricing was competitive but the differentiators were their drawings (which were more thorough and I received a copy of the drawings before making my final decision… you’d be surprised but some companies do not give you drawings), Barb’s (the owner) product knowledge, and the ease in working with her. I was fairly involved in the design of the closets, mainly the walk-in – Barb was patient and professional, great with suggestions, prompt with changes to our design, and quick on email. We had the closets installed a couple of months ago and they have all proven to be very functional. My husband and I LOVE them. In the master walk-in we have 2 banks of drawers with beautiful lattice work on the drawer fronts, oil-rubbed bronze accessories which “dressed” up the closet quite nicely, a shoe tower, and crown moulding throughout. The guest room closet was fairly simple as we just needed it for storage (a hanging bar on one half and shelving on the other half). The nursery closet, on Barb’s advice, has adjustable shelving and 3 adjustable hanging bars (so they can be moved around as the baby gets older) and a bank of drawers. The front hall closet isn’t huge but is very functional –shelving for shoes, a hanging bar that spans 2/3 of the width of the closet, and adjustable shelving for the remaining 1/3 of the closet (with a hanging bar that can be inserted in case we have more guests). The installers, Carlos and Jeremy, were friendly, clean and efficient and did not go over the scheduled amount of time to install all 4 closets. I had to have someone come back to fix one small thing but it was given no hassle at all. I was impressed by Barb and her team’s work and would (and have) strongly recommend them to anyone looking for new closets.

Christopher was great to work with. Very helpful, he listened to what we were looking for and designed something that we love and maximized our space. The installer that came was friendly and professional. Great team of people. Makes the whole experience very easy. Highly recommended.

Barb and her team did a great job with our walk in closet. From Barb giving us excellent suggestions on how to use the space and drawing the plans and finally the finished product. We are thrilled it is exactly what we wanted. From the initial meeting to installation was only a matter of weeks. We will use them in the future.

Horrible customer service and poor design advice.

The actual construction is nice, the installation was very well done. However, the design did not properly consider the room, the layout and the light It is far too overbearing.

I've repeatedly tried to get my concerns rectified to deaf ears.

I'm going with a competitor for future work already in planning stages.

I recently moved and once again needed bookshelves for my extensive library. Given my limited budget I considered my options. Should I go with Space Solutions though I can cut my costs with readymades? I decided to go ahead with Space Solutions but not because I have been pleased with their work in the past; I went with them because of their great team!!!!!!!! Currently I have a few major stresses in my life. I knew that working with their designer Micheline
would be stress-less! She is knowledgeable, precise, personable. I have worked with her before and knew I could trust her to help me choose the best 'solution' though I am currently not thinking clearly! I was right. And she gave me a much needed hug too!!!!!!
This may not be the usual review -but I thought I would like to share .

Barb and her team at Space Solutions do a great job, the work was done on time, installed perfectly and they cleaned up after themselves. products are stylish and durable. Definately would reccomend Space Solutons.

From the design consultant, Marlene, to the installers (Christien and Carlos) they were all so responsive, courteous, detail oriented and super clean. They finished the job in the time promised.
I am sold to their brilliant service and product delivery.

Our room was a challenge since there were no square walls. The first step was to come up with a basic design and this was done effectively with the assistance of three staff members of Space Solutions who listened to our wishes. Their input was helpful and very professional. We received a detailed quote and following some revisions we agreed on the terms. The installation was completed on a timely basis with minimal inconvenience in the rest of our condo. The craftsmanship was beyond excellent and we have received many compliments on the completed project. We couldn’t be happier with Space Solutions.
