Servisol Home Improvements No Longer In Business

We recently used Servisol to renovate our upstairs bathroom in our older North Toronto home.

Bruce promptly replied to our request for an estimate and came by in the evening to our home. Bruce gave us some great suggestions and a very reasonable quote so we decided to use Servisol for the job! Bruce was easy to reach throughout the job whenever we had questions or concerns.

Shawn was the main guy working at our house over the 3-week period. He gave us daily updates and always spoke to us first before he made any changes to how the renovation was to proceed and his attention to detail was excellent (he was a perfectionist). He worked extremely hard to come up with a solution to a challenge that came up with our bathroom floor and we were very pleased with the outcome.

All of the other contractors who worked on the bathroom (plumber, electrician, painter) were very professional and did excellent work as well.
Overall, we are very pleased with our new bathroom and would highly recommend Servisol to our friends and family!

We're a younger couple who just recently moved into an older home with inadequately designed bathrooms. We wanted to gut them and start fresh.

We had 3 bids and decided to go with Servisol. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Bruce was more than happy to meet us at any time and was always readily available for our questions or concerns during the job. He carefully listened to all of our ideas and informed us on what would and would not work. (He didn't just say "yes" to everything to get the job like some other companies did). He also provided us with detailed estimates and a reasonable cost.

After work commenced, Servisol identified a few problems we had hidden in our walls - older wiring, old plumbing issues - not done properly or to code by a previous contractor. Unfortunately this caused a significant increase in costs and our time line, however Servisol had things corrected properly and as quickly as possible.

Servisol's employees were all extremely friendly and professional. They always cleaned up after themselves and called if they were going to be late at all. We didn't have a problem letting them work alone in our home. Richard did an excellent job with both bathrooms and acknowledging our many requests. He also did a fantastic job with the tedious tiling and our custom shower stall turned out amazing.

They even called us a few weeks after it was done to make sure we were happy with everything and that there weren't any issues. Definitely above and beyond.

All in all we are very happy with our new bathrooms and the quality of work. We have since requested a few other quotes for other jobs and look forward to having Servisol back again. We would recommend them to our friends and family without hesitation.

I've hired Servisol after interviewing a few contractors for a fairly big project: had to expand and redo the bathroom; kitchen floor tiles, walls and ceiling repair or redo; removal of fitted closets in the bedrooms; replacing internal doors and jambs; stairs demo and wall repair after new stairs install plus landing tiles; new fitted closet; initial work for the laundry; replace the house plumbing etc.
Everything was done on schedule and within budget. The crew is professional and reliable. Great customer service and follow through.

Servisol laid everything out. Bruce (and the entire Servisol team) were exceptional. Great customer service and great follow through. We had a light broken in our basement where some of the work needed to be done and they went above & beyond and actually fixed the light for us! They were always on time and as they were going along if there were any surprises- even a $10.00 part- they asked us for approval before adding it to our bill.

Servisol renovated our kitchen and main floor, the reuslts were nothing short of exceptional. They worked wonderfully with our designer kept to a schedule, which in this day and age is not the norm for contractors. Bruce is very reponsive and deltwith with all issues that arose on the job immedidately. All the workman and there were several who worked on the job were very good and a pleasure to have in the house. We would certainly recommend Servisol to anyone who was considering doing a reno big or small, this one was on the larger size but we would use them agian for smaller jobs as well.

We contracted with Servisol to replace a number of windows and a patio door in our 1985 vintage home in North York. Requirements were established with useful suggestions contributed by Bruce Maisels of Servisol. The job was contracted and recently completed in January 2008.

We are pleased with th quality of the job, the competence of the tradespeople and the fact that they made an effort to respect our house by use of adequate groundcloths and final cleanup.
