Sears Home Central - No Longer in Business

Our all home appliances were bought from Sears. Three of them broke down within the warranty period. They repaired within time without any cost. Only issue was, we had to wait for the appointment.

We had new eaves installed in 2006 which the down spout has been leaking since installation. We have called at least 6 times to get this issue looked at and it is still not resolved. In addition the leaking is now causing water to come in to the basement when it rains heavily. Sears uses third party contractors for all of their jobs so trying to get this resolved has turned into a nightmare!

There was a problem with our DVD recorder. Peter came to our house and he had the wrong service order. We needed the DVD recorder badly. Peter made a few phone calls and he went to his shop in Rexdale from Mississauga and was able to get out DVD R fixed in a few hours. It meant a lot to us

We have bought all our appliances from sears for more than 25 years and are very satisfied with the service we have received. Most of the appliances are covered for service for the first year and some major parts up to five years. Our washer stopped spinning and was repaired the next day by Patrick in a very professional mannor. Back to the laundry room for me.

I have been a Sears customer for many years. I have mainly used the store for small items. For example: clothing, bed ware, small appliances, kitchen utensils, and many more. When it was time to buy a new fridge I decided to shop around. The initial prices brought me to Sears but it was the well educated staff that took the time to help me find the best fridge for my home. The staff took the time to explain which fridge would save the most energy. I am very happy with my fridge.

Sears Home Improvents replaced most of the windows in my home (the exception being 2 specialty windows that they were unable to do). I was very pleased with the timeliness of the installation, the quality of the workmanship and the performance of the product.

After numorous expensive service calls for our 5 yr.old garage door opener, we headed to Sears on the recommendation of a friend. We walked away very happy customers with our brand new, well-priced garage door opener. Within days, Sears Service installed it and removed/disposed of the old system for a nominal charge. As our 1yr. service warranty is about to expire, Sears called to offer an extended warranty. Great service. Great price!
