Patching Drywall

With so many different types of spackle, the gentleman directed me to a better product which is easier to apply, a litter for expensive but the completed wall looked great and was easier to prepare for painting. No more spackling for me! Thanks

Desk & cabinet building

Went to rona with a desk layout for work - needed to build cabinets and storage drawers.

Didn't like the prefab stuff as it would not fit the space properly.

1 hr later the amazing staff at rona had me total outfited with all the materials I needed + a hand drawn plan on how to do the project.

Awesome! :-)

Leaking Bathroom Sink

These guys know their stuff at Rona. I went to the [another store] first... what a mistake. [Another store] could do nothing for me to fix my specialty collar and ring set that was leaking on my Manchesca sink. Their take was that I had to buy a whole new unit because nobody makes the odd shaped

Rona was extremely helpful, couldn't' get the unit either, but had solutions based thinking and came up with a combination of other things that made the parts fit and sealed the sink.

Never goto [another store] - they don't care..

Rona Rocks! :-)

Made to Order - Mirrored Closet Doors

We renovated bed rooms to include new floor to ceiling closets. We wanted sliding doors, and interior dividers. We ordered custom size doors - which were made near Montreal, shipped to the store for pick up, and were ready in 12 days!

$600.00

Bathroom Sink Trap & Reno

I don't' know why I go to the Depot first, but I always end up back a Rona. Basically, the good folks at the Depot told me there was no solutions for my Mancesa sink parts - they don't service foreign models don't you know. Even when I acknowledged this and asked for solutions to work around my parts issue = they didn't care. The Good folks are Rona on the other hand, had a number of suggestions and possible work arounds (even though none where recommended - be we know this, just need solutions at this point). In the end the Rona offerings and my own ingenuity prevailed and we now once again have a fully functional bathroom sink :-) Yay Rona!!!

Flower pots

I normally purchase flowers from specialty shops for my garden but this year I decided that I would try one of the bigger box operations to see what kind of quality they produce. The hanging baskets I bought are doing really well for the price I paid. In future I will definetly consider using Rona for my garden needs.

Kitchen Renovation

I could not imagine the kitchen design and renovation going any smoother, and the price was a steal. Having personally price shopped, the final price was several thousands of dollars less than most competitors, and we received top quality wood throughout. Luan was a major help and is highly recommended.

Paint and wall paper

Employee were not trained in mixing the colours that I wanted and needed to ask several people for assistance. With inexperienced staff, service was very slow and not efficent at all. Rona charges so much, that you would expect them to have more trained staff assisting customers.
