Park Hill Paving

I called this company and right away a salesperson came out and gave me an estimate. The person was friendly, knowledgeable and the price was fair (I also had two other prices). I liked that they seemed professional and that the service is provided by the owner themselves. They finished the project in a timely manner and I was very satisfied with the quality of work --- my driveway looks fantastic!!! I would and have recommended this company to my friends and family. Others that I know have used them and we've all been extremely happy with the results! Kudos to Park Hill Paving!

In few words, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with: from mediocre quality of work, to huge delays and chasing them around with phone calls and emails, to not coming back and fixing the issues as per warranty agreement and on top, an arrogant attitude among upper management.

They were able to contract some of my neighbors and they all came to me complaining about all the above. So this wasn’t a singular case.

A waste of time, money and energy!

We hired Parkhill in early spring 2008 - work finally started, after many unreturned phone calls. By spring 2009 it was apparent that the walls were leaning and proper drainage was not installed. The driveway paving was also inferior. We made many calls, sent many email, contacted BBB. Finally in Nov 09 they returned, without notice, removed the cap and 1 layer of stone on 1 wall only- this did not resove the problem at all. We are now seeing green mold at the base of the walls. We have had zero quality or customer service from this company.

This company failed to honour the 1 year driveway warranty. After repeated calls they kept promising to address it then ignored calls and did nothing. Cracks first appeared after 6 months. The same people own Park Hill Paving and may have some questionable scam going on between the two. They were also kicked out of the BBB for failing to address other complaints. Were also caught operating without a licence in the Town of Markham. Run away quickly from these characters.

DON'T EVEN CALL THEM!!! I called them and they were very good about calling back and coming to get their deposit. After that we didn't hear from them for weeks. They finally called to say they were coming - didn't show up nor call. I called several times, no call back for several weeks -said they were coming again didn't show up nor call. Finally called back when I said I was coming to get my deposit back and gave me a lot of attitude. Wouldn't let them do it for half the price now. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR - DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH THEM.
